Main Street Citgo

Extremely helpful. Was able to figure out what was wrong with my tire and fix and replace it really quickly. Very friendly and efficient. Would absolutely recommend them.

Upon the recommendation of a friend I brought a used car to Main Street Citgo to be checked to see if it was worth purchasing. That was over 4 years ago and since that time I have been bringing my car whenever something has come up. Last year, my car failed to pass inspection because of an emission issue. They fixed it (a bit costly) and the engine light went out but came on again months later. Didn’t give it much thought until I had to get the inspection sticker this year. It didn’t pass again due to the same emission issues. I brought it back to Citgo and they fixed it at no cost as they GUARANTEE their work!
I know very little about cars and really appreciate the honesty here and that they back their work. I truly feel like they care about having me as a client. Starting from Richard (the owner) to the young mechanics, they are professional and courteous. It’s well worth the 13 miles I have to drive to have the peace of mind that I won’t get ripped off and that the work is guaranteed. Can’t recommend this place enough!

My car was towed here at the recommendation of AAA. I wasn’t sure what to expect because as a young female I always fear being taken advantage of by car repair shops. My car was left in their parking lot late at night, so I called at 8:00AM on Saturday morning to inform them of the piece of rubber I hit while driving and to see if they would have time to look at my car. The guy said he would call me back in 2 to 3 hours after looking at my car. I was immediately thankful that they were able to look at my car that day. Surprisingly he called me back in an hour. He told me my car was fine except for the plastic protector piece under it. He gave me the option to not replace it or replace it. He also said my car sounded like I needed oil. I decided not to replace the piece under my car so he said it was ready for pickup. When I picked up my car I was only charged $ 12 for the two quarts of oil he added. I was so shocked they did not charge me anything for putting my car up on the lift. I will be back!

Expensive gas, expensive repairs, confrontational personalities. Other than that, they’re great.
