I am writing another review for Perimeter Termite and Pest, because I noticed Unilocal decided to take my positive review down, and leave the only 1 negative review about a great company that went out of their way to provide excellent service. The technician came to my home, and extensively treated my home for stink bugs, and months later I still haven’t seen any signs of the pesky bugs. I disagree with the tactics of Unilocal claiming to be a review site, when the only review that is published for this business, and many others is a 1 star review, and removing positive reviews, that Unilocal unilaterally determines unrecommended. I also noticed that businesses that advertise on Unilocal, are given preferred ratings, and the 1 star reviews are removed. Unilocal is a scam!!!

I chose to use perimeter to eliminate rodents from the basement of my home. They not only eliminated the rodent problem but found the entry points and sealed them. While the technician(Mike) was here performing the work he discovered in the storage area a place where the mice had chewed the protective coating off a power wire. I would have never found it because it was in an area located behind my furnace. I appreciate the notice because this could have been a fire hazard. Thanks again!

UG! Why can’t we give 0 stars?!? After speaking with 3 companies I hired Perimeter in May 2010 to get rid of what they said was a «relatively minimal» mole problem in my yard. But to be prepared that it could take up to three months. I paid them approx $ 275 and agreed to allow them to do monthly maintenance on the issue for an additional $ 45. My assumption based on this meeting and further discussions was that for $ 275 they would get rid of my mole problem. For $ 45 a month they would ensure it did not come back but that the process may take 90 days. Its a lot for a little mole problem but reasonable to get it done right. In June they came and baited. I left for the months of Jul/Aug, their documents showed that they came and baited during that time frame and there was no visible mole activity. I came home in early September to a much larger mole problem than I had began with. A few days after my return the«technician» came to do my September maintenance. When I asked why the mole problem wasn’t cleared up he said he just«does what is on the order form» and that I would need to «contact the main office» if I had any questions about the service. So, that is what I tried to do, for the next 2 – 3 weeks, leaving multiple messages with no phone call returned. Finally, I called to cancel my service. Somehow Mr. «L»(the guy that came to give me my initial consultation) received the message that I was terminating and called to ask why. I explained to him that my problem was getting worse and the technician wasn’t able to help me or answer any questions and my phone calls were not being returned. He said they would step up their efforts to 2X maintenance a month plus traps and to call on his personal cell if I had any problems. With so much already invested(nearly $ 500 at this point) I figured I had to at least TRY so I agreed to continue service. In October the technician showed up and was snide with me, telling me he had«gotten in trouble» for my phone call and DENYING that he told me I needed to contact the main office with any issues! I called the office again to tell them about the technician and tell them the issue was getting WORSE and I wanted to cancel, furthermore, my husband was now peeved and telling me to cancel service. Mr. L again contacted me and we agreed that we would give it until January 2011 to get rid of the problem, again, I already had so much invested and I just wanted the moles GONE. Shortly after(minutes), the owner called me and gave me a long schpeal about how it can take 12 months to fix a mole problem and FYI, that is how long my contract was for-which it was NOT, I had signed the initial fix the mole problem for $ 275 but no contract for monthly maintenance. At that point I told him to just forget it, I am DONE with them. In November 2010, Perimeter did not show up for service. Good. In December 2010 the technician apparently showed up while some friends were staying at my house that were aware of the situation. They informed him that we were no longer using perimeter. In conclusion, there is one competent, customer oriented individual that works there(Mr. «L»)-it’s just too bad everyone else is making it so hard for him to keep his contractual promises. Oh, and, $ 500 down the drain and I STILL have a mole problem.
