Not a fan. The rice at this place was strange; like almost plastic texture. The meat was prepared well the and the sauce resembled the taste of a Japanese sauce, but that’s about all that was Japanese about this place other than some of the decorations. It seemed like a fast food Chinese restaurant to me, edible, but not a superior meal. It gets a second star for being clean and friendly.

Great place to go to. Very generous portions and freshly cooked. Location from google maps was wrong, it’s down by the Kroger instead of the Walmart. Had the Soba noodles with steak and vegetables, my gosh it is good. Price is very affordable for the quality and quantity of the food. Definitely will be back.

Ordered Hibachi chicken with noodles. It filled me up and was very delicious.
I went there with a party of 20 people and we were able to get our food within 20 minutes.

The only thing worth eating here are the noodles. Other than that this food has no flavor what so ever. And honestly tastes like Chinese food. They do not use enough sauce or spices on their food it tastes bland, the ingredients however are good quality but they need to learn how to cook real hibachi food. I eat at numerous hibachi/​Japanese steak house places in Lexington to know what the food should taste like. It definitely needs improvements.

Very good Hibachi Chicken & Shrimp. Quick service & everyone in the family really enjoyed it. The sauce was a nice touch in flavor for the dish. We will return & try other dishes. Great addition to the Winchester food offering.

Its great if you like americanized Japanese food, but don’t come here expecting sushi or anything close to traditional Japanese food. There’s nothing Japanese about this place except for the decorations inside and one of the staff. Which is apparently fine for all that hillbillies that come here, but if you’re from out of town, its just average. Service was good and staff were friendly, its overall a good bite to eat.

Bravo for Winchester on getting a fast food Japanese Restaurant. They really dumbed down a menu concept that allows for fast friendly service. They offer hibachi with your choice of meat/​veggies and rice or Soba noodles with your choice of meat/​veggie. That for the most part is their menu. They do sell egg rolls and other items as sides but its all kind of straight to the point.
I reluctantly stopped in here one night and was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean on the inside with the normal Asian décor and colors with a very friendly and smiling staff. My food was bagged and ready in just a few minutes with huge serving sizes. It was a thousand times faster than the McDonalds here.
I have stopped here a couple times already and have not been disappointed either time. And they have a freaking drive thru.
I really think this is approachable for those people who haven’t ever had Japanese food. Good job guys. I am impressed.

Great addition to the Winchester area. I got the hibachi chicken for a little less than $ 7 and it was just as good as some of the hibachi places in Lexington which cost about $ 13 for the same meal! This place does not cook in front of you, but it is a great option if you are only concerned about tasty food, big portions, and a low price. Hopefully they stick around.
