History

Established in 2008.

Founded by Thomas Stirling in 2008, Stirling Technologies holds strong roots to the University of Vermont, where the company was originally founded in a dorm room before growing into today’s current offices in downtown Winchester, MA. All employees past and present are contemporary friends and colleagues of Mr. Stirling’s that he met throughout various channels throughout his time at UVM. The company has grown to offer an array of services to all types of businesses but remains true to its roots.

Business Owner

Thomas Stirling founded Stirling Technologies in 2008 while still attending the University of Vermont as a small, home-​based web and IT consulting firm. His experience within his major at UVM, a unique combination of business and computer science, propelled his desire to found and run a business of his own in his field of expertise. Since graduating with honors in 2010, Tom moved his business back to Massachusetts permanently, first opening up shop in Woburn before moving into Stirling Technologies’ current offices in downtown Winchester. Tom is a former acclaimed wrestler and still likes to remain active, especially during the winter months with his passion for snowboarding. He is also extremely active in his community: he is the Vice President of the Woburn Business Association, is a member of the Winchester Chamber of Commerce and belongs to several local business networking groups.
