Sweet Escape

I bought the amazon deal for a mani-​pedi and eyebrow wax for $ 30 in Feb… initially i had difficultly making an appointment because they work only 3 days a week. i work full time 9 — 5 and cannot make a 10 30 am appointment on Wednesday
I finally made an appointment in the end of May and got there… the ladies were pleasant and my aesthetician did an ok job on my fingers… toes not so much… polish was everywhere… she did clean up though. they have good collection of colors and from what they used on me they had good products… but the tools they were using did not seem to come from a sanitizer (or may be i missed the part where she brought new sanitized tools for me)
I like my pedicure chair to be very comfortable and have a massage… like 90% salons do… this one wasn’t comfortable at all. I had to sit at the edge of the chair and stretch my leg completely to reach the brim of the water bowl
All in all my service was ok. I dont think i will want to pay $ 55 (this is the normal price pedi 35 and mani 20, i had gotten a $ 30 promotional price) for an ok service
I did not use the eyebrow wax service.

First off, I’m surprised that there aren’t more reviews for Sweet Escape. I can only assume that people are trying to keep this place to themselves ! I went to Christine for a facial and she knows skin care ! My skin has never felt AND looked better ! She understood my frustrations with my skin and recommended great products, and I like that she wasn’t trying to push me to buy products that she knew I didn’t need. Everyone was very friendly and the place is extremely clean which will keep me going back. I already made an appt to have a massage and since Christine also does waxing. Sweet Escape is my new «all in one» spa !

Why are there no reviews after a Get Sugar promo? I got it and from talking to the girl there, it seems like they sold a lot and were very busy.
I had no problem making an appointment, though my sister got it too and they were already booked for her first choice of times. The waxer was very sweet and polite. She was professional and did a good job. I do have to say I am not thrilled. She was a little sloppy and I have a lot of stray hairs. :(There was also a lot of wax left. She left me with the wax remover and cotton balls like I was supposed to try to do it… Weird… I probably wouldn’t go back right away but if they ran another promo, I’d try it again.
