We specialize in high quality guitar and bass lessons for the Orlando area. At Five Leaf Music Studio we are passionate about helping our students find their musical voice as well as the ability to express themselves creatively and freely regardless of whether you are 8 or 80. We make learning theory and technique fun by working with students on the songs and musical styles that they are interested in.

History

Established in 2011.

Five Leaf Music Studio was established in 2011 but I have been teaching guitar and bass for the last 7 years. I have a bachelors degree in music, and have taught guitar to beginners right through to college level music theory.

Five Leaf Music Studios gets its name from the crazy coincidence of finding a five leaf clover where one would never expect such beauty and individuality to be. Every person on this planet is unique just as that five leaf clover, and therefor should have their own voice and unique way of expressing that voice. Five Leaf Music Studio might be young but the values and artistic ideals are as old as music itself.

Art, music, poetry and literature are the building blocks of any great society.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

I was raised in the multicultural metropolis of Cape Town, South Africa before I journeyed to Sydney, Australia for university studies in music. After three years of music and performance education at Hillsong International Leadership College I enrolled in the Australian International Conservatorium of Music, from which I graduated as valedictorian with a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Performance. During my six and half years in Sydney I worked as a session musician, taught privately (all ages) as well as at the university level for Hillsong International Leadership College.

Through performing, teaching and living in Sydney I gained an extensive and varied musical foundation, from which I draw I both my teaching style and content.

My wife and I moved to the States where I taught at Harris Music Studio in Lincoln, NE before moving to Orlando to begin work towards my Masters in Music Composition. We now call sunny and vibrant Orlando home.
