Tim’s is the BEST place to go for tastings, for wines when you have no idea what to pair with the food your serving, when you want to hang out and sample some free wine on Friday night after work!
We were thrilled when Tim’s opened in Windermere because we’d been customers of the Orange Ave location for a few years and loved being able to buy a variety of terrific wines and really great price points!
My husband loves their «Crazy Case» sale where you get to pick from very expensive bottles to moderately priced bottles to make up your bargain case of wine. Our wine fridge is always well stocked because Tim’s is our fav and our guests are never disappointed. We love heading over for special tastings because the atmosphere is casual and friendly and we always meet old friends and make new at Tim’s.

We walked in recently after going to a Windermere festival and were pleasantly surprised of all of the awesome wines they have. What really made it special was John, the person who helped us. He wasn’t pushy, told us about all of the options, gave us a glass of wine and invited us to come to a Friday networking event. When there’s so many wine stores popping up across Orlando, it’s nice to having your «go-​to» spot. We will definitely be coming back very soon… maybe today!

Tim’s Wine Market Windermere has exceptional service with great prices. The owner, Craig is very knowledgeable about wine and was able to help me pick out wines in my budget –all while explaining the taste and explaining the region its from. They have a lot of fun events, which is often paired with food from local restaurants. And to top it off they have free wine tastings every Friday from 5 – 7. Best Wine Store hands down.

Love the friendly, knowledgeable service at Tim’s. Their various wine clubs offer smart selections «off the beaten path» for those tired of the same old stuff from the supermarket.

Tim’s and Ravenous Pig did a tasting the other Saturday afternoon. Oh man, the joys of being an adult. You know what I mean. Kids really miss out, but who cares — they’re only children.

Three tasting stations and 2nds on the Ravenous Pig plates if you asked nicely. These little tastings were very art-​sy and full of flavors. The blue cheese thingy had a thin crusty bottom to it and sweet blue cheese. The best! The sushi flounder tasting was not so much my thing. The cracker-​croûton with the modified chorizo spread too was a «go fo mo.»
This is a very nicely laid out store with a lots vinos, some beers and other stuffs.
Wine tastings are held here on Fridays.

Last week LivingSocial had a deal where you spent $ 12 and received $ 25 dollars to spend at Tim’s Wine Market. I had been to the Tim’s on Orange Ave. once, but never to the one in Windermere. I bought two certificates — one for my mom in Windermere and one for myself for the Orange Ave. store.
The experiences at these stores could not have been more different. I grew up in Windermere and my parents still live there, however it can be a bit snobbish — especially a wine store in Windermere.
I could not have been more wrong. When my mom and I walked through the door, we were warmly greeted and asked if we’d like to try a sample of Cabernet. They had a bunch of different wines on sale from inexpensive to expensive. They had Silver Oak that was normally $ 100 a bottle for $ 75, which is a great deal. They also had a bunch of gift baskets available.
The staff was very friendly and pointed us in the direction of some inexpensive red wines for our party. We purchased several bottles.
All in all, a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for wine.

My friend and I hit up Tim’s for their weekly wine tasting event on Friday nights from 5 – 7. I have to admit, I was a little hesitant at first. Free tasting at a wine store? Weekly? I was a little skeptical that the place was going to be tiny, absolutely dead, or filled with wine snobs that were going to be intimidating.
I am very pleased to say that I was dead wrong on all 3 counts.
Tim’s is a lovely store, and a good size (small enough to feel personal, with a good selection and a fair amount of space so you don’t feel stuffed in). There were a fair number of people there, probably between 10 – 15, so that you didn’t feel alone and it was not hard to get a spot at the tasting table when it was time for your next pour. And all the people we met were very nice and friendly, definitely including those working in the shop.
We tasted 6 wines, a good variety and all a decent quality and reasonable price if you were enticed to bring a bottle home. Some cheese and crackers were also provided.
We didn’t end up purchasing any of the wines that were being featured in the tasting, but we did end up bringing home one of the other bottles in the shop. There was a great variety of wine regions represented, as well as a good variety in price; the people working there were also very willing to chat about wine with you if you are not sure what you are looking for. They definitely make you feel welcome; there is no pressure to buy. If you are looking for a low-​key wine tasting… I highly recommend it on a Friday night.
