Established in 2011.
Envious Bronze was started by Jessie Nickerson in 2011. Jessie spend 7 years in the marketing world working for 2 local firms in Downtown Portland, Maine. Jessie’s passion for health and wellness led her into the world of spray tanning and Envious Bronze was born. Jessie holds two certifications as a Sunless Tanning Technician and is constantly researching the industry to find the safest and best products available for her clients. Envious Bronze brings professional service and the most natural color available in Southern Maine.

I started Envious Bronze in 2009 to bring a tanning alternative to Southern Maine. As someone who is fair skinned, spray tanning gave me a tan that I otherwise was not able to easily obtain, and I have never found anything else that makes me feel better about myself in just 15 minutes. I spent months researching to find solutions with the highest quality ingredients and the techniques that work best for my clients. It is amazing what a tan will do for you. It makes you look thinner, helps hide stretch marks, scars, and cellulite, and helps you believe in yourself. I enjoy making someone feel more confident about themselves. It is why I love my job.
