Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Airport

The receptionist here is very friendly. The shuttle to the airport is very convenient and it always arrives on time. We have used the service twice. Very satisfied with the service here!

My experience wasn’t so bad! It is great for a night or two night stay. Very friendly workers and my room was super clean and big. The only disgusting thing was the shower head but it had great pressure. Also a great 24 hour shuttle! I had a nice new TV new blue walls and a new bathroom.

There was a lot of ok things about this hotel. But the greatest thing about stayimg here was the morning front desk person KELSEY. After a horrible day of flying and negative night staff KELSEY made me feel cared for and excited to start my new journey. She has been here twenty years and worked her way up for maid to front desk. Meeting her was worth it all.

Buyer beware! Parking is not included in the
price, read ALL the fine print. It says «complimentary self parking» but then at the end it also says «$ 5 a day.» Guess what the hotel manager did? He said everyone is confused by it, they understand it’s unclear, but too bad, you’ll need to pay! Why aren’t they trying to make this clear?
I even told him how I had called ahead to confirm everything twice, and to confirm parking and at no point did any staff make an effort to clear this up ahead of time. Too bad.
negatives:
1.parking included was not included.
2. The rooms were beat up, synthetic blankets on the bed, (the kind that make you sweat and it can’t evaporate), we could have gotten a higher rated park and fly for far less $$ had we known
3. breakfast included was not good: English muffins were hard and stale, no fruit, just sugary cereal, no coffee ready, (had to ask) pretty minimal effort and minimal variety and value.

1.the bathroom was spotlessly clean.

All in all I feel it’s extremely irresponsible of management to know that their advertising is misleading, and to not make any effort to correct this. They just don’t seem

This place is pretty horrible.
Stayed here for three days last week (was supposed to stay for seven, but it was so gross I checked out early).
By the way, if you use
, and you check out early on your reservation, they will charge you the full room price, at the hotel’s discretion. So a room that would have been 79.00 per night went up to 149.00 per night. READ THE FINE PRINT, people.
The queen bed was flat, squeaky, and the bedspread on top of it looked grungy. Anyway, I was afraid to sleep on the sheets or lay my head on the pillows, so the first night, I put my clothes back on and then used my robe and t shirts to line the bed underneath me. The sheets were old and grey, but they smelled like bleach. They looked kind of scummy, and after taking a shower with the hotel soap and using their very scratchy towels, I started to ITCH. Yuck.
This is a non-​smoking property, so the guests go outside their rooms to smoke. There were quite a few right outside my window, which faces directly onto the parking lot. Although I am a former smoker and don’t care whether people want to indulge, their cigarettes made my room smell like smoke, even my car right outside smelled of smoke the next morning!
There were people milling around the parking lot at night, and there was a man on the second floor balcony arguing loudly with someone on his cellphone, and I just didn’t feel safe. I was, after all, a woman traveling alone. So I barricaded myself in the room until morning. It was coming up on a weekend, so everything else within a normal price range in the area was booked until Sunday. I went to the local walmart and bought sheets, pillowcases, pillows, and towels. Also, some good sturdy socks to walk around in, as I didn’t want to walk barefoot on the grungy carpet. I also bought some hypoallergenic soap.
The next Sunday I was able to move to the Quality Inn right down the street. It was very clean, and I was able to complete my stay in comfort and safety.
Never again, Econolodge!

We were looking for a cheap place to stay as we were attending a concert at MGM Grand, about 6 – 8 miles away. The service when we entered the facility was terrible. The older gentleman at the front desk was miserable and rude beyond words. I handed him my AAA card and asked if there was a AAA discount and he threw it back at me, threw it! I spoke my mind, we got our room key and off to our room we went. The room was really clean considering this hotel was $ 75 a night with taxes. You really can’t beat that price! Lots of bugs outside of our door, drunken neighbors and the power went out so we were unable to receive our breakfast. However, another gentleman that worked there allowed us to stay much later than the usual check out time so that we could shower once the power was back on. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

We weren’t completely in love with the rooms, but for the price it was fine! It was half the price of other places in Mystic, and while dated, we found it to be clean.

This place is gross. Holes in the sheets, unknown stains on the blankets, beds, and floors. The bathroom door did not close. Dirty walls and food on the floor. The smell in the room was worse than that in the front office. We booked 3 rooms each worse than the last. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE GOOD REVIEWS. This place is awful and we have been to some questionable hotels. There are about 6 other hotels around the same area that you should stay in for the extra 20 bucks. We went to a show at Foxwoods and checked in a few hours before. The front desk clerk was not pleasant. He was absolutely no help. We booked on a travel site and tried to charge us a second time then told us he would not be able to give us a refund if it went through. Seriously? Unfortunately we didn’t win big at the casino or we would have bought another hotel room and chalked the econo lodge as a loss.

The front desk guy isn’t too friendly. The rooms were OK and clean but nothing fancy. Meg thinks I could have negotiated the price down. We got $ 75 at 8:00 on a Tuesday night for a room with 2 queens. It was late enough that I should have at least got $ 60. We had the pool to ourselves at 9:00 which was fun. But there weren’t any pool towels and the outside lights never got turned on. The coffee maker in the room was broken and we got to the continental breakfast at 8:15 and there was only one piece of white bread left.

DO NOT STAY HERE!. we were going to a show in fox wood and only decided to stay here because it was dog friendly. the hotel clerk greeted us with a blank look, no smile, no welcome, the room was dark (not kind of dark, but pitch black) and smelled so bad we had to go out and get a yankee candle. the fridge did not work, the grounds had dog poop all over (not from ours, we clean up da poop!). the mattress was uncomfortable and the pillows unusable, they were like flat pieces of cardboard. you should not pay to stay here, you should BE paid, then turn it down. sorry econolodge, you goofed!

Pleasant, clean rooms. The front desk staffers aren’t the friendliest and the continental breakfast isn’t great, but the rooms have a small fridge and microwave and it’s walking distance from the grocery store. A little creepy that it’s right next to the local cemetery.
