Awesome homemade italian just like grandma used to make. Try the godfather. Beats olive garden tour of Italy any day.

Nice little place. Had the Godfather Platter which consists of spaghetti, manicotti, lasagna, chicken parmesan and a meatball. Homemade pasta was delicious. The salad was very fresh. My boyfriend had the Delmonico steak which he enjoyed other than it being a little thin. Kid had chicken tenders that she liked and she is tough to please. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because while my dish was good it was obviously made and then frozen and was a overly heated up. Chicken was chewy. Flavored were there though. Next time I plan on getting a huge salad!

My wife and our friends decided to try the nearby, yet overlooked, A Tavolo, in Windsor, NY. The dining room is in the rear, past the bar. The ambience is early 1900s hotel. Although I don’t know the history, that feels right. Nothing fancy, but cozy. We were greeted by owners David Gatto, & Donna. The menu is extensive, so don’t overlook the back page. The«specials» were listed to run the week, and the special prices were not so special. A minor glitch, easily overcome by the excellent food. We had, chicken marsala, seafood fra diovolo, & chicken cacciatore. All cooked & served to perfection, The French onion soup was as good as I’ve had anywhere, and the cannoli were excellent. The service was friendly and our needs were met with grace & in a timely fashion. I’ll return and recommend A Tavolo to all my friends.

We made the trip to Windsor(less then 20 minutes) to enjoy dining on their patio. We love the casual rustic ambience with great scenery. It feels more like a friends backyard(or with a little imagination Tuscany) but with all the benifits of a good restaurant! We enjoyed mussels in a light broth to dip the warm bread into, homemade ravioli, shrimp scampi with thier own linguine al dante’ & a nice bottle of red wine. The service was friendly and very attentive. We look forward to our next meal and dining in the charming dining room or lingering at the bar for a nightcap:) 5 Stars for its authentic homemade food, the service, ambience, little details & restoration of this historic property.

The ambiance is amazing! The food is delicious especially the homemade pasta and the twice baked potato soup. I have had something different each time I went and ir has always been delicious. They’d is also a nice wine and beer menu and fun cocktails made v at the bar! It is worth the scenic drive to Windsor! If you have not yet checked it out, put it on your list!

My favorite new Italian restauraunt! The food and atmosphere make for a wonderful and affordable dining experience. The pasta is home made and the recipes are authentic Italian. They grow their own herbs and spices as well as fresh vegetables right in the back! The wine selection is vast and they also carry an array of craft beers. The bar is big and beautiful, the owners did a truly nice job remodeling.
