Group piano and music classes for kids, ages 0 – 6 years.

Specializing in total musicianship, voice, piano, instrument training using rhythm instruments, tone bells, autoharp, and piano. Sound Beginnings classes are mom and me type classes that a parent attends with the child ages 0 – 4. Piano students must be age 4 to begin. Kids learn complex music theory and piano skills through play!

History

Established in 2012.

I discovered Let’s Play Music when looking for a piano teacher for my 6 year old. I was referred to this program and was blown away by the curriculum, it is absolutely brilliantly designed to teach complex musical theory and piano in a fun, engaging way. I trained to become a teacher and have enjoyed sharing the love of music with more children each year. I have since added Sound Beginnings to my studio and now am able to teach an awesome music and movement class for 0 – 4 year olds as well.

Interests: I have a BA in Elementary Education and have taught private piano lessons for 14 years. I am the director of the Timberline Church Kids Choir and I am a mom to 3 mini musicians of my own. I am married to a musician and love teaching Let’s Play Music and Sound Beginnings! I am a certified Connections teacher (private piano) as well as certified in all 3 years of the Let’s Play Music program and Sound Beginnings.
