Starbucks

This was a trick by Google and it led us into a target where there was only one employee working at 10am?! The line for this Starbucks was longer than the lines for target. Do not go here because it is the only one in the area; go to an actual Starbucks further away and get done sooner anyways!

As far as I know, this is the only Starbucks in Windsor. Tucks inside the Target on Kennedy Road, it has a limits food menu but largely has all of the drinks you’d see at the larger locations.
The quality is comparable to other Starbucks and I’ve never encountered unfriendly help. Lines can get a little long, especially around busy shopping times, as there is only one register.
Overall, your standard satellite Starbucks location.

I don’t live in Windsor, but having worked here for over 5 years, I was puzzled when I stumbled upon a Unilocal listing about a Starbucks in Windsor? WTF was that? I didn’t remember seeing any Starbucks up here, and I thought I knew Windsor pretty well. Turns out it was located inside the Target store in the shopping center just off the Kennedy Drive exit on 91.
If you enter the store through Target’s main entrance, Sbux is on your right. If you are exiting the store, its sort of right behind the cashier stations. It has a smallish visible sales counter, but it’s L-​Shape yields a pretty decent sized dining area out of your initial view.
I swung in today during my lunch hour, looking to satisfy my iced coffee craving, and thinking I’d get something for lunch. I’ve been in the Sbux in Simsbury and Avon a lot– they usually have some sort of sandwich or salad or something for lunch.
Well this Sbux had no food except for a rather smallish supply of cake pops, muffins, sconeish looking things, etc, I settled for a blueberry muffin and a large iced coffee. The muffin was just OK– nothing despicable. Nothing praiseworthy. Just OK. The iced coffee was terrific –deep coffee flavor that tasted excellent over ice with a splash of cream and 2 Splendas.
All in all, its a nice civilized place to sit, collect your thoughts, and sip a cold or hot beverage. But don’t come here looking for anything other than a bakery item to munch on.

I dislike this Starbucks that is located within Windsor’s Target. The quality of drinks is inconsistent with other Starbucks. Additionally, the last time I was there, the woman made my drink wrong. When I told her I ordered hot, instead of iced, she tried to argue with me! If I was at any other Starbucks, the drink would be remade right away, without any questions.
I still go here though, because it’s the closest to my house. =/
