Specialties
Many customers tell us we have one of the best Czech glass collections they’ve ever seen. We also carry semi-precious stone, fresh water pearls, seed beads, and a variety of two-holes beads.
Most of our classes are geared to the beginner/intermediate level. This means a beginner can do them but someone with experience will benefit from the class as well. In addition to our one-of-a-kind beadweaving classes we teach stringing and wire-working classes.
Our classes are taught by Alyx, a two-time member of the Starman Trendsetters team, an international group of innovative bead-weavers. Alyx is also the author of 26 Quick-Stitched Elements: Endless Jewelry Possibilities, published by Kalmbach books.
History
Established in 2006.
In 2005, alyx was downsized out of her job as an assistant manager of a college bookstore. She decided to open a beadstore instead of finishing her dissertation on medieval history,
She’s had a couple of projects published, one in Bead & Button and one in Beadwork. She also has book coming on August, 2015 from Kalmbach called 26 Quick-Stitched Elements: Endless Jewelry Possibilities.

«The spring rolls here are fantastic! Tomi Thai makes their own unique peanut sauce that has a touch of plum wine in it — or try the green sauce.»
