The philosophy of Montessori education started in the 19^th century and has progressed as one of the leading methods for child development. At Windsor Montessori School, your child (ages 18 months to six years old) is the focus of a wonderful learning and growing experience. Their environments are nurturing, loving & challenging, addressing the whole child: academically, physically, emotionally & mentally.

Led by a seasoned staff of AMS Certified Teachers and degreed Teacher Assistants, Windsor’s mixed-​age classrooms allow for younger children to learn from older children through peer teaching, increasing independence. Their diverse students learn skills such as independence, literacy, math, art, drama, science, Spanish, problem solving and partnerships through hands-​on and individual instruction. The school also offers before & after school programs and a summer camp series, as well as an infant-​toddler program at their Discovery Center. Member School of American Montessori Society.

History

Established in 1980.

We are a registered Full Member School with the American Montessori Society (AMS). The student body ranges from age 18 months through 6 years. One toddler class and four primary classes occupy the Milo W. Peck Child Development Center Facility.
