A&E Smog Test Only

This place is great! I drove right up, the gentleman came out and greeted me and my daughter. He had me fill out a very short form and then I sat in the waiting room which is the testing area. TV, water and comfortable chairs. Maybe about 8 minutes later, he came in and said I passed, I paid and I was done!
He has some fun stuff on the walls to look at too. My 4 year old was intrigued the whole time!

Eddie helped me today. Two years ago, it was his business-​partner, Alex. Like two years ago, today’s smog-​test experience was flawless.
HIghly, highly recommended.

Friendly and officiant staff. Came in for a smog check, they got me in and out in no time. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

This was my first experience with getting my vehicle smog and they did an awesome job taking care of me and getting my car smog.
The two employees i talked with were super friendly and approachable. They also gave me a first time user discount. I can only hope that other business that deal with customers are helpful and friendly as these guys are.

Excellent service! Called to ask how much for smog test and they told me it was $ 60 and that there was a $ 20 dollar off coupon available on Unilocal.Fast service. Was out of there in 15 min total. Will always go here for smog!

This is only my second Unilocal review, but the service of A & E was so good that I wanted to share this information.
Getting a smog test is one of those frustrating annoyances that those of us that cannot afford a new automobile every 6 years have to grin and bear. Trying to navigate the gauntlet of shady test centers that advertise one rate and then charge you a higher one, or that make you wait for a seeming eternity to perform the test, merely adds to the annoyance factor.
A&E was a dream: the technicians (I believe they are the owners?) were courteous and upbeat; the wait was only 15 minutes from the time I arrived until I was back in my truck; the price was actually less than I expected ($ 40 instead of the $ 50 I expected) because I happened to mention that I saw them here on Unilocal! (Make sure you print the coupon linked on their website and take that with you and be sure to mention you saw them reviewed here!)
Like other reviewers have pointed out the shop is slightly tricky to find: you have to turn into the correct driveway and drive down a row of other shops to get to A&E; the waiting room is nothing special but is clean and has a TV and free bottled water.
There were no other customers waiting when I arrived, so I cannot comment on what the wait might have been otherwise. But they are so efficient I would guess it would not have been long.
If you dread the thought of having to find a smog test center then I cannot recommend A&E enough!

I don’t do reviews as often as I do before, but in this case I feel one more positive review will be beneficial.
I went today early in the morning and I was in and out of that place so fast. They are efficient at their services, and they tell you the details about your car.
It is a bit hard to find, but if you’re coming from Oso take a right into the alleyways before Saticoy and by the apartments, and the location will be on the left.
Overall, it was quick and easy on the wallet. I definitely recommend this place.

I brought my 2000 Sienna for a smog test here. They are knowledgeable of what there doing, it took only 15min to be done. Happy customer will come back soon.

Called for a quoteand gave me a great price for a 09 Corolla. Eddie was friendly and got me out in about 10 minutes, no drama. No wait, given it was a weekday but atleast you know you can get a smog check done on your lunch break from work!

This is the only place I will take my car for a Smog Test, best people in the Valley! I had gone to another place because I was in a hurry to renew my registration and the guy there failed me and said three things we wrong with my car but I passed the emissions test. I didn’t trust him and headed over to A&E Smog Test since I’ve been there before and I passed with flying colors. Was in and out within 30 minutes and they were all super friendly!

I needed smog checks on 2 vehicles, I called first and spoke with Alex who was really eager to offer me a deal. He said to come on and don’t worry about printing the coupon.
In and out in about 15 minutes per vehicle plus free bottled water and a good fight on Jerry Springer!!!
