Great service. David was prompt, professional and reasonable. Rekeyed 3 locks in my new-​to-​me house in under an hour.

Received a brochure from this company after we moved to a new home. They had special prices for new homeowners that beat local locksmiths. I checked Unilocal to make sure they were reputable. Check. David came out the same day and rekeyed 5 locks, installed new knobs & digital keypads on two and fixed a kickplate on a door that wasn’t opening well. He was so polite, well mannered and knowledgeable and took the time to explain how to work/​change the digital keypads in future. I am happy to have a great locksmith I can use and afford in the future, if needed.

Moved into a new home, so had to replace all the locks. Got several flyers from locksmiths, but SL&S stood out for some reason. Steve Lieu performed our service. We could not be happier. He thoroughly explained our options, and gave us a great price per flyer. He even found a few ways for us to save money. Changed several locks for less than $ 350. It was an amazing deal. Steve was courteous, professional, personable, and made sure everything was great. We feel much safer now in our new home. I highly recommend him and his company.

First I want to say that I do my research before I decide to settle on anyone for my service needs. I called several places to see the best quote I can get. This was the only place that was able to give me one BEFORE coming out to my place. Everyone else gave me the run-​around saying «we can’t really give you one until we come out and take a look at what you would need to have done». In other words let me see the hundred different ways we can swindle you for more money! Yeah roiiight, I don’t think so pals… Anyways first guy I spoke to was Paul. He was courteous, friendly & professional. Left him a message & he called back right away. Told him what I wanted done and he broke down the price for me in detail. He said he would be there at 3:30 (barely an hour from speaking to him on the phone – impressive!)
A few minutes after 3:30 a guy named Steve knocks on our door. We liked Steve even more than Paul! He was cordial, professional & very respectful. He was very thorough, showed us the areas of any possible security breaches, triple-​checked with us everything we wanted before starting his work & giving us a final quote, which we were pleased with because it ended up being less than what we were initially quoted. A definite plus! I mean 2 deadbolt installs, peephole install, 4 re-​keys, 2 doorknob removal & replacement plus 6 extra keys for less than $ 250 is a steal right? I did have a promo code but still I was very happy with the price. At the end, he also did a walk-​through to make sure the old keys no longer worked & that the new keys did. We couldn’t have asked for better service! I would highly recommend Safeguard Lock & Security to anyone, would most definitely use their service again and I hope you are lucky enough to get Steve as your locksmith because he was awesome! He is one of the «keys» to the success of this business!

Received a flyer with a discount promotion on it. Called them and set an appointment for Sunday. When David the locksmith arrived he was polite and professional! 3 locks all done within 30 minutes! $ 100 with extra keys. Very top notch company! will definitely use again!

I received a flyer in the mail from Safeguard Lock & Security. After moving I always wanted to have my home rekeyed, but never got around to it.
After a few months, I pulled out the flyer and contacted them. Appointment setting was simple and they came out a few days later.
The rekeying process took awhile, but everything was done satisfactory. I also requested and had installed a new deadbolt to replace an existing one.
After he left I realized the new deadbolt was a lower grade security than I would have liked so I contacted the company to have it replace with the highest grade available.
Today they came out and replaced it at no extra charge. I definitely recommend Safeguard Lock & Security.

Setting an appointment was a breeze. David called an hour before to confirm. David provided awesome service, right on scheduled time and extremely courteous. Also showed other security improvements that may be required without pressing to make a sale. Would surely recommended them again.

Awesome customer service, showed me his permits and business license and promptly arrived. Up front and fair prices. Would definitely recommend. Steve was friendly and very professional.

Locksmith, Steven, was punctual and called ahead of time to confirm arrival time. All keys worked. Satisfied customer. Will definitely recommend Safeguard Lock and Security to others.

Don’t get strung along the way I did!
I moved into a new home and got the flyer in the mail. $ 18 rekey and $ 35 service visit. $ 13 to change any other doorknobs (possibly up to $ 25 max). Fantastic! Should be about $ 66.
They were good about quick scheduling and showed up on time.
My door had double lock (one on each side of the door) X double cost.
Contractor lost the keys so $ 10/​lock X 2 to pick the lock.
Pressure to change the «old lock since it might be rusted for only $ 40 more.»
Door knob changed and warned it may be «more expensive»
Asked about patio door, could be «up to $ 50»
Oh and the bevel of the new door knob doesn’t fit in it’s hole space so $ 10 more (for a 5 second drill).
My door knob was also put in upside down.
I didn’t do half the things and signed off on $ 114 to Steve.
He promptly left with the old handles and nails sitting on my patio and new opened packages on the floor. When I asked what to do with them he yelled «you can throw them in the recycle bin» as he exited the home. Classy.
I keep it real so 1 star for quick availability and 1 stars for the job on two doorknobs getting complete. But lots negatives on the service.
Definitely my last time calling them.

Had my house rekey recently due to the lost of my keys while in the gym. I was completely locked out of my own house. Locksmith showed up in a very timely manner. Very professional, courteous, and friendly. He knew exactly what to do and do it efficiently. I highly recommend these guys. Their price was very reasonable and actually lower than other locksmith company out there. Hopefully I won’t have to use a locksmith again anytime soon. If I do, I will absolutely call this company again.

I found this business when I moved and received their brochure in my mailbox and have made appointments twice so far, with great service both times. David is very efficient and thorough in his work and arrived on time. When one of my locks got stuck a few weeks after my rekeying he was able to quickly fix the problem at no cost. I highly recommend.

i have a novice here. he arrived an hour and a half ago and still hasn’t rekeyed a single lock. I only have 3… he seems rather slow and incompetent at one point i had to ask him if he’s done this before.
i wish i had everyone’s else’s experience here… i’d tell him to leave but i’d have zero locks.

We received a flyer in the mail from Safeguard soon after we moved into our new house. Wary of all flyers, I reluctantly called this company to have them change our locks. Not only did they come on Sunday, when they said they would, but Stephen, our locksmith was super nice, polite, and courteous. Their prices were super fair and they did a great job. I would highly recommend their service.

Like the previous reviewers, I just moved to the area as well and got one of Safeguard Lock & Security’s flyers in the mail. I called and was able to schedule an appointment same-​day. They arrived on time and were courteous and professional. And the best part? No hidden charges! I did opt to purchase additional items, but the costs associated with re-​keying all my locks were exactly what they advertised. I highly recommend this company!

I recently moved and received a flyer in the mail reminding me to change my locks. I called and spoke with Steve around 10am and he was able to come out the same day between 12 and 2pm. He arrived at 12, and showed identification and proof that he was a certified locksmith per my request. (I watch a lot of Lifetime, lol)
Everything was done in a little over an hour and I appreciated the professionalism and concern when he mentioned updating other areas of the house, without pressure. The service was reasonably priced and I will definitely recommend this company. Thank you!

Received their brochure in the mail when I moved in and found out their prices were pretty competitive. Talked with Steve on the phone to make the appointment and he was extremely patient in explaining options, lock types, and other random questions I had. He was then able to schedule me for the very next day.
David showed up within the promised window of 10am-​12pm and spent 4 hours rekeying the whole house. He also made some suggestions for improving security in other places, such as putting pin locks on patio doors, and also pointed out and corrected many minor flaws with our door alignments to allow the locks to function better.
I did call around to two other places before choosing these guys. They were the cheapest (though the second-​cheapest was pretty close), and they both simply gave me the feeling that they were legit locksmiths and that they were giving me reasonable prices for good quality service. It’s only one day after the work was done, but my wife and I are very happy so far. They also have a 1 year warranty on their parts and labor, so that gives us additional peace of mind.
If I ever have need of locksmith services again in the future, I’ll definitely call these guys first. I hope they add emergency 24hr service since I know I can trust them.
