A lovely bakery-café that delivers decadent goodies and scrumptious lighter meals with a smile. My first visit here was a treat after a 30+ mile bike ride and I was drawn in by the sight of made-to-order pizzas and yummy cookies. My goat cheese and spinach pizza was fresh and hot and featured enough cheese to satisfy without overpowering the delicate spinach or tangy sauce. Both of my cookies — oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip — were soft and chewy and gone far too soon. The cinnamon rolls boast fantastic flaky pastry and a marvellous icing that should be sold on its own. :) Super clean bathrooms, charming ambience, nice people behind the counter. I haven’t tried the coffee yet, but I will do so on my next visit.

What a great place by the lake! Stopped by with some work peeps and loved the Margherita pizza.

Delicious sandwiches, soups & pizzas. The staff is delightful and the décor is pleasant. It’s one of my favorite places to chill in the Warsaw/Winona Lake area. While their coffee is certainly nothing to write home about and their prices are a tad more expensive than comparable restaurants, it’s worth stopping in if you get the chance to enjoy a warm summer day on the balcony. While I often enjoy their soup du jour, my favorite menu item is the Margherita hearth oven pizza — this definitely cannot be made at home(at least not my home)!

Can only rate the coffee and cookies, never had any of the more substantial food. The cookies are solid, but the coffee is absolutely amazing, some of the best I’ve ever had. Combined with the very nice ambiance, this place is a winner and a really great addition to the Warsaw area.

As a new arrival to Northern Indiana, was pleasantly surprised to find this bakery that makes homemade bread, croissants, pizzas. Pumpkin lattes, trail house breakfast sandwich, spinach/goat cheese pizzas are amazing. Sprinkle cookies are addicting so watch out! This place is a bright beacon in a small town.

Lovely set up with tables, couches and armchairs, ‘bar’ seating that looks out on the street, and patio seating! I tried the smoked turkey and bacon sandwich, which was toasted on wonderful homemade bread, and came with a small mixed greens salad on the plate. They have recycling and composting bins, which are clearly labeled! Wonderful! They announce your order over a PA system, and you go pick it up at the counter. That was a little confusing, since it was fairly crowded when my order was ready. I was quite surprised when I took my plate and recyclables back in, that the man behind the counter addressed me by NAME and asked how my sandwich was! THAT is impressive, considering how many people had ordered after me! I will certainly return to try the pizza and baked goods!

This place is very cozy. I like how it’s decorated, with nice paintings on the wall, couches; it has this ‘shop around the corner’ homey feel to it. I stopped by here for lunch around 2 pm and it was quiet busy. They have a very nice selection of soup, which changes daily. Their pizza is fantastic. I wasn’t too impressed with Caesar salad, but the dressing they used was very tasty(not a typical Caesar dressing). It feels like the owners really care about this café, everything is always fresh, the menu is well thought through. I am yet to try their sandwiches but I am sure they are great, as the bread they make on premises is really good! They offer coffee and tea too. The prices are very moderate. This is my favorite local place to go to for lunch or for a bite of artisan pizza.

Pretty good baked goods(big fan of the chocolate pain) and nice unusual lunch fare(pizzas, salads, soup). A bit more expensive than your typical fast food lunch, but sitting on the deck or porch to enjoy it is worth the notch up. I do have a beef with their coffee, generally it’s a very good, nice fresh brew cup for $ 1. But they«have a rotation» and a couple of the recent«rotations» haven’t been as good as what they used to call their«house blend». To quote Crash Davis, «Don’t think, meat. You’ll only hurt the team.»
