Every time I am in a new city I look for a H&M. I really like this one, it’s not overwhelmingly big and not too small like other locations. I find that their clothes do run a little different. So I have to try on each piece to make sure they fit correctly. I always make sure I buy their basic pieces for my wardrobe.

Awesome! I LOVE H&M! This location does not fail to satisfy. I entered from the bottom floor and was about to be disappointed they didn’t have a men’s section when I found it was upstairs. This location is much larger than it lets on.(Although arguably they could’ve spared a bit of space for more and larger fitting rooms.) A little bit closer to Charlotte than the Raleigh location this will definitely be my new go-to H&M for all the trending styles there are to be had for cheap. At least until they finally bring one to Northlake or South Park malls in Charlotte!

I am in agreement with Amanda on this one… We(my wife an I) planned a weekend trip around visiting this store, as they do not offer an online shopping experience, like other larger retailers. We drove from Charlotte to Winston Salem(approx 1.5hr) to search out this H&M location. For starters, the mall is very«old». The stores on the ground level each have two entrances one from the parking area, and the other is inside the mall. The mall itself is a long strip mall, which is divided in two sections — The North Mall and the South Mall. I will write about the mall in a different review. Back to H&M. It is filled with great values, good selection of clothing and the service was very friendly. The staff was presented a picture of what we were looking for which was shown online, they were able to produce that item quickly and it was very reasonably priced. Again, they do not offer an online shopping experience, they just have a few items featured on the website which are offered in the retail stores. The men’s section was disappointing for me, as they did not offer my size, Obviously, I am not one of their customer’s core audience, so I will not rate the experience based on my own personal shopping, as I am either too old, or too fat, but now that I think about it, I may be both. Just for an fyi, the women’s section is on the lower level, the men’s section is on the upper level. If I were in the area, I would stop by again, however as my wife assured me, I would not be required to make the drive again, just for this store…(whew) For those that are close… happy shopping.

I have been a huge H&M fan for years, and I try to plan most vacations around stopping at an H&M(at least my US trips). I was VERY excited when I heard there would be a new NC location just 1.5 hours from the QC — granted this was bittersweet excitement because I really think they need to open in Charlotte, but life goes on… I visited this H&M last weekend — it may not be worth the trip or maybe I just hit it on an off day. But I thought the store was wayyyyy smaller than most locations, their selection seemed smaller than other H&Ms and they had hardly any accessories. Waaa waaa! Other than that, the mall is really outdated so I am perplexed as to why H&M decided to move there. Can I get a Southpark, Northlake or even Carolina Place!!! I guess I’ll take a Concord Mills if you insist. I won’t be making the drive again, so I will just keep planning trips to other cities with an H&M or waiting for their online store to open!
