Description

Specialties

Now welcoming patients from Stratford Hearing Aid Center

We look forward to offering a continued high level of care.

Working within the medical community, our clinic provides a variety of hearing healthcare services including hearing assessments and rehabilitation, education, and counseling. Our clinic also fits and dispenses sophisticated hearing aids and related devices to suit all types of hearing loss and life styles. Assessments regarding the level of amplification that would be best suited to our patients are generally completed following a comprehensive hearing evaluation by a qualified hearing health care professional.

We also actively participate in the prevention of hearing loss through the provision and fitting of hearing protective devices, consultation on the effects of noise on hearing, and consumer education.

Service centers were established in Stokes and Surry counties in the mid-1970’s and hearing care services were offered in other rural areas on a routine basis. In 1982, Dr. Brooks Neff acquired the practice and audiology services were introduced. Hearing Care Center was relocated to an office complex on Silas Creek Parkway in the mid 1980’s.

In 1991, Dr. Neff merged his practice with Dr. F.R. Glatz and remained independent while providing audiology services in conjunction with Otolaryngology at Westgate Center Circle. Dr. Glatz closed his ENT practice in July 1998. In August 1998, Carol Rexrode joined The Hearing Care Center as a partner. Dr. Neff
