History

Established in 1986.

Floyd Mock and his two brothers Carey and Cecil started the business in their parents’ garage recapping tires. They opened their first store in 1972 on Country Club Road. The business grew through the relationships they built with their friends, family, co-​workers and neighbors in the Winston-​Salem area. Cecil’s son Craig continue the same tradition of real people, right pricing, real easy at Mock Tire South Park, which opened its doors in 1986! Genuine concern for customers and employees coupled with an ingrained sense of honesty and natural friendliness has fueled the growth of the business. No matter what the weather forecast is, we have the tires and auto services to match. Craig Mock inherited a love for cars and honest business from his father Cecil, one of the original founders of Mock Tire. His mission is to provide dependable, quality products, and service for a fair price in a friendly, honest, and accommodating environment.
