Mt Tabor Boarding And Grooming

I needed 11 days of caring and attentive boarding for my foster dog who was undergoing heartworm treatment. He needed to be observed for an adverse reaction to the immiticide injection, had to receive medication twice per day and needed to be kept quiet and leash walked. The staff at Mt. Tabor exceeded my expectations. When I returned to pick up the dog, he had been bathed & groomed, his bedding washed and he looked great. I was so thankful to be able to go on vacation knowing he was in good hands with the qualified staff at Mr. Tabor.

Some people treat their pets as their children and would never dream of leaving their child at daycare overnight. Tori is THAT person.
As a lifetime cat owner, my family had to board our pets when we took vacations growing up, so I was kind of used to leaving my babies in good hands, but when I mentioned the idea of a boarding clinic to Tori, she gave me a firm, NEVER!
Then, one day we got an exterminator notice on our door stating that pets could not be in the apartment the following day. With no other option on such short notice, I searched for a kennel for our baby and came across Mt. Tabor.
I called and was greeted with a friendly, welcoming receptionist on the other end. I knew that if I picked a mediocre kennel, Tori would kill me, so I asked some pretty strange questions like, «how much does someone play with the pets?» The receptionist was very assuring that Richard would be well taken care of.
The moment I stepped foot in the kennel I knew that everything would be okay. The staff loves Richard and always makes sure he is fed. He gets more attention there than he probably does at home because the staff loves to play with him.
After a great day visit, we got a card in the mail for a free night of boarding. We took him back one night when we were travelling to Boone. This time, Tori came with me. We asked for a tour of the kennel and had a nice conversation with one of the employees about her own pets.
Mt. Tabor is a very welcoming place staffed by animal lovers. They have lots of upgrade options and you can pay for extra playtime. I always feel extremely comfortable leaving Richard here. It’s honestly the best kennel I’ve worked with.
