Established in 2013.

Train to Relax Yoga and Wellness began has as a fitness company offering workout programs to the community. Our mission is to increase the awareness of mental health disparities while encouraging a holistic healing routine connecting mind, body and spirit.

Business Owner

As a competitive cheerleader I realized I needed more to supplement my workouts and decrease stress and anxiety levels. I suffered from depression beginning at a young age which led me to want to help other teens and young adults find the confidence, self love and courage to help release depression and anxiety. Finding a purpose (dharma) on my path helped to alleviate depressive symptoms while bringing a sense of contentment into my life. After graduating from Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, NC and becoming a licensed massage and bodywork therapist I decided to further my education in Vinyasa Yoga to complement my practice. I graduated from the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training under Allison Dennis at Heart of Yoga School in Carrboro. I hope to encourage more young adults to follow their dreams and live a life with compassion and love!
