Since moving from South Florida(almost 2 years ago), this has been the only barbershop that I’ve gone to. The ship isn’t located in the best plaza, but these guys absolutely know how to cut hair. I’ve seen them give various types of haircuts, but the majority have been fades. The wait time is much longer on Friday through Sunday, but the rest of the days are usually pretty empty. If you’re looking for a good haircut, I’d say they are the best in the area.

D&C barber shop is a family owned business, they have 4 locations all located in the west side of town; old winter garden road and Hiawasee is I believe their original location, Dillard street is the second one, Good homes rd and colonial is their third and their newest one is located on Kirkman and colonial. How do I know all this? I have pretty much been to each location with the exception of the one on Kirkman because the regular person that cuts my hair keeps moving to the newer location. Their largest location is the one on Good Homes rd which I believe is also one of the busiest along with the old winter garden road. They only accept cash but do have an ATM machine in case you forget, but then again, who likes paying ATM fees? Exactly, no body! Wait time usually isn’t much, however, if you have a specific barber that’s your go to person, depending on how busy he is you could end up waiting on an average of 20 minutes for each person that’s ahead of you. No complaints since they take their time to get the job done. In addition to haircuts, they also offer hot towel service and they can pretty much design your beard, if you have one, to whatever shapes and designs you like. By the way, they have TV’s around playing different programs that you can watch while waiting, no sound though as they have Spanish music playing at all times. Or, you can spend your waiting time writing reviews on Unilocal. Finally the price, haircuts used to be $ 10, but price went up to $ 12 not too long ago within this year.

My son finally found a barber he likes here. But after paying and then going back to get change for a twenty to leave a tip the girl charged him again for a cut. My son works hard for his money just to have someone steal it… they have cameras but no one can check them but the owner so they say.
