History

Established in 1985.

Independence RV serves RV full-​timers and RV first-​timers. It has been voted the Top Newmar Service Center the past three years and receiving the coveted Mahlon Miller Service Excellence Award. The company specializes specializes in luxury motor homes. Independence RV offers both Class A diesel pushers and gas RVs. Independence RV features Newmar luxury motor homes including Mountain Aire, Dutch Star, Ventana, Canyon Star and Bay Star. This stable of quality motorhomes provides diverse price points.

As a Newmar Florida Dealer, Independence RV stocks an impressive line of gas motorhomes starting with the affordable Bay Star Sport and Bay Star models. The new line of gas motorhomes features luxury Class A gas motorhome floor plans of the Canyon Star, which also offers not only the family-​oriented gas coaches, but also motorized toy haulers and wheel chair accessible RVs.

Business Owner

Ronnie was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, a region with deep roots to cotton, tobacco, and more recently banking and NASCAR. In 1985 Ronnie relocated to Central Florida and started Independence RV. The dealership has distributed everything from pop-​up trailers, travel trailers, fifth-​wheels and Class A motorhomes. Independence RV has continued to improve the RV product lines to provide its customers with vehicles that span a wide range of features, amenities and price points. Both Newmar Service and Newmar Parts have become an important part of this enterprise making it one of the premier Newmar Dealers. From the Newmar Bay Star with its full body paint to the luxury of Newmar motorhomes like the Mountain Aire, there is something for everyone. The dealership is now over 25 years in existence, and it has weathered both financial storms and Florida hurricanes without a dent or scratch.
