Katie is the only RN in the Orlando area who offers Reiki and Healing Touch treatments in her practice. She works with adults, mothers and babies, and children who are sensitive or on the Autism spectrum.

Reiki and Healing touch are alternative modalities for treating anxiety, stress, insomnia, and pain.

Children benefit by learning about their energetic boundaries or fields, which helps them learn personal boundaries, how to block out environmental stimuli that bothers them, and how to protect themselves at night.

Mindfulness, meditation, and energetic protection exercises are also part of adult sessions.

Katie has been practicing Healing Touch since 2010 and was certified to practice and teach Reiki in 2013. She teaches at the Sanctuary in Oviedo and practices at Plant Street Wellness Center in Winter Garden.
