Specialties

Bön Appetit! Like many little restaurants in Europe. Café de France takes pride in serving classic French favorites with the freshest ingredients brought in daily. All dishes are freshly prepared on premises, using many local products and offering daily specials according to market availability. We serve lunch and dinner Tuesday thru Saturday, and are open on special occasion such as Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, Mother’s Day and Easter Sunday. We also host private parties on request. We have a full bar and a temperature controlled cellar for our very diversified wine list.

There is a nice outdoor sitting area where you can relax, have an expresso or a beer and are conveniently located near Rollins College.

The lunch menu includes favorites such as Crepes, Croque Monsieur, Lamb sandwiche, French Onion soup, Salads and various entrees… At dinner the choices are also very varied including Lamb, Duck confit, Filet mignon, Salmon, Diver scallops, Coq au Vin.

Meet the Business Owner

Dominique and German G.

Business Owner

Dominique and German Gutierrez bought the restaurant in 1985, and have been at the same location since then. Dominique, a conference simultaneous interpreter, is from the West coast of France, and can hold her own in any kitchen, although nowadays there is a full time Chef at Café de France. She oversees the menu, and all that has to do with its preparation. She still makes the Pâté and it has become a staple of the restaurant. German is a Colombian native, whose parents had a restaurant in Bogota. He is very keen on wines, and thus is in charge of the wine list and the monthly wine dinners that occurs at Café de France. Both husband and wife run the restaurant’s day to day operations.

Chef Nathaniel Russell is a Culinary Institute graduate, and has been heading the kitchen for 2 years now. the serving staff is very professional and multilingual. We speak Spanish, French, Arabic and we all try hard to speak English!
