One Stop Cooling & Heating

I have been using One Stop Cooling and Heating for over a year now and couldn’t be happier with them. They have excellent customer service skills. I have had Alex, a service tech, twice to my home. He is competent, leaves the workplace immaculate and explained everything to me. Not sure why people are upset with the calls being late. When my A/​C went down in November, I was more than thankful they did show up late, rather than the next day, which I have had happen with other companies in the past. So glad that someone recommended them to me.

I called yesterday because our AC was smoking outside. They said they would be here between 1:00 and 5:00. I called the office a little after 5:00 and was told they were running behind and would be here at some point but didn’t know when. I received a call about 8:00 pm to say they were on their way. 9:00 pm rolls around, they were still not here. I called the tech’s cell and left a message not to bother coming this late. My STRONG customer service recommendation is to keep your customers informed throughout the day when you have asked the customer to sit home initially for 4 hours that turned into 8 hrs. Horrible way to treat your potential customer that will not only be a customer but will tell others not to use you.

Big Man was spectacular — really went above and beyond. Appointment was easy to make, and they were out exactly on time. Their maintenance plan really sets your mind at ease, and now I have a system set up for getting filters, and setting up my appts. Awesome!

Alex, the service tech, was very knowledgeable and professional. He walked me through step by step in servicing my AC unit. He also explained all my options thoroughly. A pleasure to work with. Thank you.

Only using this company because my home is under a one-​year warranty with them. They were supposed to be here at 3 PM but did not show up until 9 PM at night and never once bothered to call me to tell me they were running late. I had to call the office nine times and nobody could tell me anything. They fixed the A/​C quickly as it was just a fuse that went out. Woke up the next morning and the same thing happened again. Somebody came out right away to fix the problem however they now have to dig up my entire yard to find the cables and wiring to find the main problem… So they had to come back later to work with a crew. They were supposed to be here at 11:30 and did not show up until 1:30 and didn’t bother to call me again to let me know that they were going to be late.

I was extremely happy with the great service Moe provided me with my a.c. unit. Will definitely came back for the maintenance plan. Thank you. Very, very happy customer.

My experience with one stop was quite unorthodox. We recently suffered a lightning storm and one of my neighbor’s tree got stuck by lightning damaging some appliances including my AC/​HVAC system. Had one stop come by the house and diagnose the issue. They came to the conclusion that my motherboard was damaged. They gave me two options replace the unit for $ 7,000 or repair the unit for $ 1,900… I was dumbfounded. Did a little research purchased an OEM replacement motherboard for $ 65 online and in less than 30 minutes completed the repair… I don’t understand how a company can rip off hard working people. Will never recommend this company to anyone. Will never call them again.

Anthony was EXCELLENT~ We will for sure use your service in the future. He was very professional and personable. One Stop — please takes this as constructive. You are a great company with great people. You have helped out where needed and you have some talented and friendly staff. I used to love your company and service, I have used you for over 13 years spanning 2 new houses built by M/​I. I truly loved Diane and her friendly demeanor. Unfortunately over the years — what I do not like is the sales tactics that your «technicians» deliver now that you have grown and been picked up by «someone else». I was warned by this from one of your former employees who went commercial, because of what was «going on» in residential. However — I did not believe it until I had service. If I want maintenance, I want maintenance — not to be sold on air duct cleaning, UV lights, contracts and other «things». I used Home Advisor and found a small mom and pop shop that delivers what I need, at a professional level and at a great price similar to what you guys were. Please find your way back to that level. Growing a business is all about customers, referrals and great service — not about how big the sale can be at the end of the call.

My former AC guy retired and referred me to these guys. I would only rate them as average. I think you can do better.
