Great Customer service and quick turnaround time… I called the day before and sent a picture of the cake and they reproduced it perfectly!

Thank you very much for creating our daughter’s Farm Cake! Everyone loved how the cake looked and tasted. For review purposes let me tell everyone that we called at the last minute (Friday afternoon) for a custom cake for Sunday and they accommodated us. We ordered a 11×15 Vanilla cake with Bavarian Cream filling. It was very good, fresh, and moist. Taste was awesome! This was created when We gave Marta a sample paper plate and a few animal cake top figurines and she helped developed the whole cake. The Final product had a lot of nice details, the clouds, the fence, the barn! Check out the pictures. For sure if we are ever in need of a custom cake we will be using Clara’s Cake again. Gracias!

Ordered my daughter’s 5^th birthday cake and it was amazing. it was a two tier cake chocolate with dulce de leche and another tier was vanilla cake with strawberry cream. The cake looked amazing. It was so perfect I didn’t even want to cut it. The owner was so sweet and really listened to the vision I had on the cake. Would recommend any day!

Based on Michael’s recommendation (which I have to admit dates back a little while), I drove out of my way to get a b-​day cake for a colleague. Little did I know they’d moved from their 17 – 92 location to SR 434 (yikes — more urban decay along that side of the road…) And she didn’t think to let me know when I called to ask if she had a cake without pre-​ordering. Oh well.
I have to say that the chocolate/​raspberry cake I ended up getting was not worth the drive or the money. Very unremarkable ordinary dark cake with some raspberry jam thing in between. At well over $ 20, it was no bargain. Her whole business now seems to center around the restaurant now. I’m not sure if that’s the reason. For all I know, she’s cake lady queen of Longwood — on this my one and only visit, she was not 5-​stars.

My husband wanted to go with a small, local bakery to do our wedding cake. I agreed, as it seemed much more romantic than my idea of using Publix. I thought that a small bakery such as theirs would be of much better quality. We didn’t want a huge, expensive cake and our requests were simple. I wanted Amaretto flavoring (as opposed to Vanilla/​Chocolate) with raspberry filling. Simple. The cake was BEAUTIFUL, but as they say it’s what’s on the inside that counts. It was extremely dry, had no flavor as she did not use the Amaretto (I’m not sure what she used) and she all but SCRAPED the filling between the layers. So I didn’t even have the filling to fall back on. It tasted terrible. We were so disappointed. The cake was barely eaten, and we ended up throwing it away as we couldn’t even GIVE it away =(We didn’t bother to haggle for our money back as we could tell we weren’t going to get anywhere with this lady. We just decided that posting reviews would be the best way to warn others. In the end, i wish we ‘d gone with Publix. They guarantee their quality, and we wouldn’t have had to worry about getting our money back as they are corporate.

Clara’s cakes has been run by Clara for years. These are the kind of cakes you cannot get at the supermarket, not saying they are overpriced or stuffy. These are how bakeries used to be. You needed a cake, you went to a bakery and Clara has continued to keep the tradition alive.
