If it was legal to to make citizen’s arrests on awful librarians, this place would be missing at least one of their librarians in the children’s section. Ma’am, I’m sorry we pulled you away from your picture book to look up a book we needed, but I truly did not think you’d have a problem, ya know, doing your job. Thanks for the exasperated exhale, though. And the eye-roll. Very becoming. We appreciated all of the help.

Sooooo… a year later I go back to get a library card! The same guy(from my other review) is there and he was a gem! So nice and accommodating and even funny. I guess someone had a bad day when I was there last. Lucky for him I reallllllllly needed a library card because I was still pissed at him a year later. haha.

I come here at least twice a week for drop-off & pick-up. Their connection with the NOBLE(North of Boston Library Exchange) is pretty clutch; I order anything I need from the NOBLE website, and they have almost everything I can think of. I have to wait 2 – 3 weeks for more popular items, but with my long library list — it doesn’t matter at all. Recently got«Never Let Me Go» the movie, The Help, and the new Fleet Foxes Album. Why rent when you can hit up the library for free? The staff is great, and the building is really old and cool. We almost lost it a few years back with financial issues, but luckily it’s back d/t their aggressive donation campaign. They’re even renovating. Best of all? Never charged for an overdue item. Ever.
