If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would! When I called to make the reservation I had a coupon code and paid for the room. When I got there to check in they tried to say the coupon was not valid and I still owed them $ 20. Classic illegal bait and switch! They didn’t even offer to honor the coupon! Poor poor customer service! I ended up telling them to cancel my reservation and had to drive around town looking for another vacancy! Completely appaling experience :(

This place was so divey and dingy… I can’t believe we even stayed here. The only reason I considered staying here was because of the 2 free Noah’s tickets per night. Flamingo also offers that but I’ve stayed there and that place was a SUPER dump. Well, it appears Flamingo and Mayflower have become one because they are equally dumpy. We are talking bring your own pillow(I always do in the Dells anyways) and blanket. I even wore flip flops in the shower. Who does that?! They used to have 2 outdoor pools. They took one out and just put blacktop in its place. Also, there are signs stating that you«swim at your own risk/no lifeguard on duty», yet there was a lifeguard sitting there supervising the empty pools. It looked like the most boring job in the world. I wonder if something happened that they now need a guard at all times. This place is worth $ 50 a night, if that… not the $ 125+tax that we paid. Envision a really bad, cheesy porno. I guarantee it was filmed here. Oh, and the front desk doesn’t answer the phone… ever. When you are a guest calling or a potential guest calling trying to make a reservation.

I stayed here only one night, the night of July 9th, and when we checked out July 10th, I was covered in bedbugs bites and had to cut my vacation short to seek hospital emergency medical room treatment. The hotel has not responded to my requests for reimbursement and has not acknowledged responsibility in any way. Since I left, there are additional postings from other customers who have encountered bedbugs. Obviously they are NOT cleaning the rooms and exterminating properly, even though they’ve been informed that they have a bedbug problem. DONOTSTAYHERE!!! BEDBUGSAREDIFFICULTTOGETRIDOFANDVERYCOSTLY!

The rooms are so outdated you almost think they did this on purpose to preserve the vintage look. But with Motel 6 price, where else can you find two large outdoor swimming pools, two large indoor swimming pools, two baby pools, two huttubs, and two sauna rooms? We spent a whole day just hanging out at the balcony, dipping in the pools, play Marco Polo, and sweat in the saunas. Staff are friendly and layback. Walking distance to Noah’s Ark. $ 20 per Noah’s Ark Water Park ticket if you stay here. The only slight imperfection is that on weekends the whole place is full and can get a little rowdy and noisy, but nothing more than a cheerful vacationer can handle.

Can’t believe I didn’t Unilocal this place sooner. Spent a week here in July 2010. Located in a pretty good spot on the strip. A few things within walking distance but we mostly drove everywhere. The interior is very 80’s and definitely needs to be updated but it’s all good. I didn’t feel gross here at all. We had a jacuzzi suite, there was a glitch in the online booking and we got a super sweet deal! I’d likely stay again, it was cheap and not gross. If you have high standards though, look elsewhere. Two good outdoor pools and an indoor pool and jacuzzi. Also a small game room and tanning bed, if that’s your sort of thing on vacay.

So yeah… its a whole, but compared to other places its the classiest«hole’ around. Extremely average with some great perks, like a jacuzzi suite or a loft suite… It does the job as its pretty close to everything. Its clear that 80’s pornor a1970’s amatuer gangbang had been filmed here… what hotel doesnt offer ESPN???

I must admit I have not stayed elsewhere in the Dells, but this place is great! Nice rooms, lovely pool and spa, friendly family ownership and to top it all off, very reasonable prices. It’s especially nice in the off-season when rooms go very cheaply. And the Wisconsin Dells/Baraboo area makes a good starting location for exploration of South Central and Southwest Wisconsin, both of which have numerous attractions. So it is very worthwhile even if you are not into the ticky-tacky Dells stuff.
