Our casual, family-​friendly restaurant serves a delicious variety of menu offerings, including unique sandwiches and wraps, delicious burgers, scrumptious salads and mouth-​watering steaks and hickory smoked BBQ ribs. In addition to our famous smoked wings, try our local favorite Friday Fish Fry or Saturday Prime Rib.

The Spring Brook Sports Bar & Grill is located in the stunning northwoods-​style clubhouse complex at Spring Brook. Guests overlook Spring Brook’s beautiful wooded surroundings and scenic Spring Brook Golf Course.

History

Established in 2006.

Spring Brook Sports Bar & Grill started out as The Northwoods Bar & Grille in the Spring Brook Resort clubhouse that was built in 2006. After a few years of operating under this name, the owners determined that a sports bar was more in keeping with a resort atmosphere.

In early 2013, the name was officially changed to Spring Brook Sports Bar & Grill and renovations were completed with the addition of 26 TVs and booths to make it comfortable to watch your favorite sporting event while dining or hanging out with family and friends. The bar expanded its selection of craft beers and introduced smoked wings with a choice of 8 sauces. The new concept of Wings, Burgers & Brews is an apt description of the new space. Packers, Badgers, Brewers, no matter your team, there is always a drink or food special to enjoy while watching the big game.

Business Owner

Dar started out his career as an electrical engineer but met and married a Wisconsin Dells native, Juli. They moved back to the Dells and started Spring Brook Resort in 1986. It has changed from a campground, to a large, bustling vacation resort with many amenities and beautiful facilities.

Dar and Juli continue to work at and guide the resort, Dar as General Manager, Juli as Marketing Manager.

My family is on vacation and chose to go here. The 5 of us sat ourselves, then waited 20 mins for our drinks. Our servers name was Hannah and she was friendly but nothing was right at all. One of our drinks had a NAPKIN in it. Yes, a napkin. While we were waiting to order our food, the family next to us decided to leave after their appetizers because their food was taking too long as well. We ordered our food and again, nothing was right. Nobody got any sauces, our traditional wings were boneless, one of the sandwiches bread was completely soaked. Drink refills weren’t offered. We waited 10 mins to get our sauces for our wings and at that point had already gone to talk to the manager. Manager agreed the were super slow (it was 8:45 when we got there) and that there was no reason for our service to be so bad. We come to the dells twice a year and definitely will not be returning!

This was our first time trying the establishment and well the food was pretty good the service and time it took to get our meal were ridiculous! We will not be returning.
We were staying in a nearby cabin on Friday night and while I respect it was a Friday, we were seated right away with no wait. It took a few mins to get service and a few more for drinks but nothing outrageous.
We both ordered the Friday fish special. I got the cod and he got the Perch. Thank goodness we decided to order an appetizer because it took over an hour for us to get our food.
What upset me most was that there was clearly an issue with our table. We saw the manager and server pointing at our table and talking not to mention the MANY tables that were sat and received food and checks before we received ours. The only thing we were told is that food would be up shortly (20 mins later food finally arrived).
As we have both been servers in the past we respect that things happen often not in control of the server. What I don’t appreciate is that nothing was said. Be honest, own up if there was a mistake or offer a free drink so something! Instead we got noting from our server or management, they proceeded to act like nothing was wrong when it took us an hour to get two fish fry’s. I wish I had read the reviews prior to going there as it seems poor service is a trend. If you want to try the fish I encourage you to carry it out!

We are giving one star because at least the hostess cared to follow up. We were seated immediately— 15 minutes later the hostess told us it would be a few more minutes. A few moments later an unhappy looking server came to ask if we wanted something to drink she would bring it as soon as she could. The drinks arrived and we waited an additional 15 minutes for her to return to take our order of fish and cheese curds and an old fashioned– you can’t get more Wisconsin Friday Night than that! As we waited we heard and witnessed her incorrectly charge a group table to one credit card and not split it even worse her manager got angry but couldn’t fix it – /it’s a charge back people– even worse the server told the table the machine made a mistake– we had friends at that table– she lied– the white cheese curds came and they were yellow and not curds they were processes cheese nibs burnt and fried — - we asked the manager and he said he wasn’t a fan they were switched two weeks ago – it was like deep fried cheese whiz– so disgusting. So not Wisconsin! The all you can eat fish turned into two pieces because the server never brought more nor asked well she didn’t even follow up– we asked for her to adjust the bill to the regular order – the imposter cheese curds were removed as well— I didn’t have the heart to judge the old-​fashioned– I will just advise you to order water– only water.
1) horrendous server who lied to customers
2) managers and servers openly swearing and frustrated at each other
3) food quality was fast food quality
4) tip the hostesses who helped with tables and had facial expressions that screamed apologies
FIX THE MENU TO REFLECT WHAT THE FOOD REALLY IS AND FOR the love of all that is Wisconsin buy real cheesecurds — how disgraceful.
We are local and always recommend springbrook if the magician isn’t there — - we are no longer recommending it.

Went there because they advertise there bloody Mary’s. Purchased a smaller Bloody Mary and it was terrible and watered down. There chicken salad was good and fresh also got some potato skins that were over cooked. When I ordered my Bloody Mary the guy didn’t even bother to take pride in what they advertise

Probably walked in on a bad night, but our group had problems galore with the service. We had both to-​go and sit down orders.
Our drinks took 15 minutes. Refills only came after we’d complained about how many problems we’d had with ordering.
We were charged for more dishes than we had and the wrong food was brought to 3 people.
Only half of the to-​go order was in the bag, when we came back for the rest of the food, the orders were wrong again.
And their version of a ceasar salad is… ummmm…quite a variation… no croutons, no romaine. And they add pepperoncinis, tomatoes, and raw red onions. Not at all the classic stand-​by.
If you go to watch the game, be sure to get a view of a TV without a tshirt hanging in front of it.

Not good! In general, I find dining in the Dells to be pretty awful. We went here with 5 adults on a Friday night a little after 9:00. The waiter was practically shutting the place down and complained to us about busy it had been that night. They use paper napkins, but want to charge 25 for a steak — very strange. I had to ask the waiter 3 times for a glass for my beer. Two people in our party got steaks, one was enjoyed, the ribeye, but the sirloin my friend ordered was not impressive. I had a cheeseburger that was not good at all. The beer cheese soup others raved about in reviews is very salty and kind of runny. Another diner in our party had the chicken wings and said they were good, but my friend who ordered the jerk chicken nachos was also underwhelmed. To top it off, fries were the only option left for the steak side dish, since they were completely out of mashed potatoes and baked potatoes. I was going to order a chicken dish, but since they were out of mashed, opted for the disappointing burger. Out of potatoes on a Friday night in the summer? Come on, Dells, you can do better than this. Sad to say, but the nice adults only night out was a bummer. The dinner the next night at Culver’s was actually better. Very disappointing.

A trip to the Dells can be quite the experience. You always expect a certain level of CHEEZ factor.
Spring Brook leaves that out.
I would recommend this spot for anyone that doesn’t want the Water Theme Park experience. It’s perfect for a big group of friends that just wants to get away.
They have some nice walking trails, golf if you like, and a really great pool/​hot tub in the main clubhouse!
I will definitely be back.

Staying at one of the houses and have eaten here twice already. Both meals have been to really good to good. Had a chicken sandwich with bacon, onion straws and bbq sauce. The chicken was moist and cooked well. The fries are good. Had the fish fry the second time and it was alright. My wife and mother had the cranberry chicken salad and both thought it was good. My daughter ordered a burger from the kids menu and she didn’t eat any of it. I tried it and thought it was really good, even without any lettuce, tomato, etc. The first night, our server wasn’t around a lot and the place was vacant. The best thing he did was bring us our youngest her bib. The second time we went during Friday fish fry but the server took about 20 mins to take our order. Not the best when you have a tired 3 year old. The food was good but the service has not been good the 2 times we’ve been there. The kids menu is confusing as it supposedly doesn’t include a drink. At $ 6 for a burger, a drink should be included. We were charged $ 2.75 for a small kids milk. I think the guy our first night was doing whatever to up the bill.
The food is good but the service is questionable. I probably won’t go again if I wasn’t staying at the resort but it’s close and the food is good. Just be cautious with the service.
