My daughter interviewed and was offered a job through Aerotek in her first job out of college. The recruiter misled her about salary, benefits, and job requirements. By the time she was ready to start, she found out that the recruiter had been fired, and that the pay she was offered would be lowered significantly after the first 3 months.

Horrible experience working with a recruiter at this agency. She called me about a position with a company I was interested in. After the call, She sent me an email stating I was over qualified for that position, but she still wanted meet and discuss other opportunities. I met with her and she presented another job at the same company. Then the recruiter said the person she’s working with thinks I’m over qualified for that position as well. Honestly, at this point, I didn’t want to work with this company at all. I should have listened to my gut feeling because from here it only got worse. Lies, lies, lies. I will spare the details. Just know this company is shady I wouldn’t recommend anyone wasting their personal time with them at all. If your serious about your job search… LOOK somewhere else!

Despite being told I’m the best «fit» for the position they’ve found.
Despite getting in touch with them asking «Have you heard anything regarding this position yet…» Nothing.
It’s a sorry state of affairs that useless middlemen have taken over employment opportunities. Businesses simply don’t want to be bothered any more, so they outsource something THEY should be involved in to employment agencies. Avoid this one unless you want to be proffered something only to ultimately receive silence in return.
