Avant LASIK Spa

I just had LASIK eye Surgury at Avant and everything went amazing! I was incredibly worried about the procedure and looked at many places. I heard great things about the doctor and I got a great deal with a promotion they were having. The doctor has done over ten thousand procedures. They have two offices and the one in Woburn is awesome. They are on time with appointments and let you in right away. The staff is really friendly and the building is very nice! After their explanations and walk throughs on the procedure, I felt comfortable and ready to have lasik done. It has now been a few months and my vision is about ²⁰⁄₂₀. I have to use drops often but that is normal and was explained prior to Surgury. There are two types of surgeries (blade and laser) and I chose to do laser. It’s about $ 1000 more however it’s the newer machine and they said the recovery time is shorter afterwards. I know people who have done the blade and said it was fine as well, I just needed to be back at work sooner. I had the Surgury on a Thursday and the next morning was able to drive and do as I needed. Everything was awesome and I recommend it highly!

I love buying new glasses. I have at least seven really unique pairs of glasses and I would wear a different pair each day depending on my mood. I am so happy with my experience at Avant Lasik Spa that I was happy to get rid of all of my pairs of glasses. My vision is better now (²⁰⁄₁₅ in both eyes) than it has ever been.

The office staff was super friendly, and filled me in on everything I needed to know before getting LASIK. The surgery itself (though admittedly kind of a scary process), was quick and painless, and I was actually able to see clearly — with NO contacts or glasses, for the first time in over a decade — that very night. I threw my contacts away the next day. A week later, and I’ve still got no pain, and couldn’t be happier with my decision to get LASIK at AVANT.

I experienced the most through eye exam I have ever had. Everyone was very professional and honest. There was no pressure at all to partake in one of the procedures they offer. I highly recommend their services.

Wait times were non-​existent (they took me back immediately) and moved me quickly throughout my care (not rushing me, but moving at a good pace). They accommodated my busy work schedule and answered all questions and concerns I had. The procedure was quick and painless and I woke up the next morning with ²⁰⁄₁₅ vision.
