Schwartz & Schwartz, PC is a Woburn-​based CPA firm that specializes in healthcare professionals. Since 1993, Schwartz & Schwartz has provided tax preparation, accounting, payroll and practice management services to doctors, dentists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers. We annually complete over 2,000 tax returns and help healthcare practices year-​round manage their accounting and payroll needs.

We’re proud to have been awarded «Best in Client Satisfaction» for both 2011 and 2010 from Boston Magazine’s «Five-​Star Wealth Manager» program. We’re also the founders of The MDTAXES Network, a nationwide network of CPAs who specialize in serving the healthcare community.

We were founded by brothers Andrew and Richard Schwartz in October, 1993.

Meet the Business Owner

Andrew and Richard S.

Business Owner

Andrew Schwartz, CPA, received his B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to forming Schwartz & Schwartz, P.C. in 1993, he worked at KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP. Andrew is the author of many tax and financial articles on a variety of issues that impact healthcare professionals. He is frequently quoted as a tax advisor on current topics in national publications, such as the Washington Post and Wall Street Journal.

Richard S Schwartz, CPA, CVA, received a B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University in 1985 and an M.S. in Accounting from the Graduate School of Professional Accounting at Northeastern University in 1990. He previously worked for the international accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, in their Emerging Business Services Group. In 2006, Rick earned the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).
