I was renewing the lease on my Camry. They rang me 4 – 5 months before my lease expired with an incredible offer. Incredible that is if it actually existed. When I went there to finalise it the 120 per month became 190 this was after ²⁄₃ hours of filling out forms and never once being told my payment would deviate from what they offered me by phone.
The finance guy was a real slime ball and his attitude was ‘you’ve done a credit application now you have to buy it.‘
The funny thing is I would of paid 190 but the sales technique sucked. Don’t spout fairytale prices to get people in the door!

If I could give the service department at this dealership zero stars I would. I made an appointment at 8 am to have a roof racked installed. They told me when I made the appointment and when I dropped the car off that it would be 2 hours at most, likely less. I called back 2.5 hours later and they said that my car would be done shortly. I asked them to send the courtesy van to pick me up and they told me the courtesy can was dropping someone off in Malden and would be back in 45 minutes to an hour. Well neither the car (nor the courtesy driver) were finished until another 2.5 hours later. What’s the point of even making an appointment? When I complained, everyone from the service rep who answered the phone to the service consultant who got on the phone with me were rude and completely insincere in their apologies. You could tell they didn’t care that I had to cancel multiple afternoon appointments and they couldn’t wait to get me off the phone. Avoid this place at all costs if you can.

There is $ 1000 fee for all used cars for a mandatory interior warranty. Around the region it’s $ 500 max. COMLETE RIP OFF. DO NOT BE EXCITED BY GOOD DEALS

My husband and I are extremely satisfied with the service provided at this dealership, and especially for our interactions with our service associate: John Russo. We wholeheartedly commend Mr. Russo for his professionalism, courtesy, patience, and expertise when explaining the work that needed attention, as well as the timely manner in which it was done. To enhance our understanding of the repairs, John even took the time to demonstrate the problem by using a model of the braking components. John went above and beyond the norm to explain every aspect of our service and to keep us apprised of the progress being made. We were so impressed with John’s knowledge and experience that we are planning a return visit before the end of May to purchase four new tires for our Highlander. John skillfully researched the best tires that would meet our driving needs and we plan to have them installed before the end of May. We highly recommend the Woburn Toyota Service Team and are pleased to recognize employees like John Russo who take pride in their work and treat customers like ourselves with the highest level of respect.

Just reviewed some other posts on here about hidden fees, I just had the same experience. A price was agreed too on a 2015 Sonata pre-​owned vehicle and once I sat down to put a deposit on said vehicle, which I was buying for my son, there were $ 1,200 in extras. A $ 500 doc fee, which is just known to be a margin builder and a $ 700 fee for a «protectant» that was to be added that I didn’t want. Apparently it’s not an option. Lastly, I’m an out of state buyer and they tried adding in a MA. Registration fee. I’m disappointed I need to select a minimum of 1 star, I’d pick a lesser option if it was available. Honestly, the business practice here is a disgrace.

I’ve had 3 previous better experiences here. They always found other problems with overly expensive fixes but one expects that. I called several weeks ago and booked what I was told would be an all day complete airbag recall replacement for today — only to arrive earlier than I would’ve liked, being sick, to be told that this is a 2 step process. The first step is supposed to take only 30 minutes then I have to wait 7 weeks for the parts to arrive to book the 2^nd step. No apology or even reaction when I complained that this was completely different from what I was told when I booked this ridiculously early appt and cleared my day.

Bought a car here a year ago that was a lemon it was not a Toyota so couldn’t blame second time around I purchased a Toyota and very happy with it… its been almost a week still no registration or inspection sticker… yesterday I was assured it would be there so I said come back in the morning… Greeted at the door by the most unpleasant rude receptionist and realized just the other day when I called I got that same rude voice… she told me to call before I come and my registration will get here when it does… seems like since I bought this car they don’t care about you… the sales guy hany was excellent but this place does not seem to care once they have your money and has left me very upset a few times this week

This has worst customer service. They took 2 hrs for an oil change and then do have the minimum courtesy to put my foot mattress back. This place just lost a long time customer for good.

If i could give them no stars I would love it! I used to go there to grab an oil change when i would have no time and then i found out my car is one of the affected camry’s with the excessive oil consumption and like a normal concerned consumer i went to go have the test performed to see if i qualify for my engine to be rebuilt. I took it in 1200 miles ago and they told me i was all set to go and return in 1200 miles. I returned this past friday (⁴⁄₁₅) and upon checking out the car they told me there were numerous other issues that conflicted with the test! So the test was a complete dud because they neglected to say that my oil pan was leaking before they had started it instead they just let the car go with out saying to me first that i should have it done beforehand… so i wasted a test for nothing to tell me that i need $ 1500 dollars worth of work to it that i had another personal mechanic look at after receiving my vehicle back and he couldn’t find any of the issues because he is the only other person that i have work on my car to do major repairs and would have brought it to my attention. I WILL NEVER GO HERE EVER AGAIN!

Hidden fees, slimy dealership. They tell you the sticker price is the actual price, but once u sit down they add on 1200 for some stupid paint protectant that u may not even want but have to pay for.

So I went to Watertown Toyota and Harr in Worcester. Harr was very professional and gave me a great deal and was about to purchase my Corolla from them (I went to them first). I wanted to shop around. I then went to Watertown and was handed Ricky as a salesman. I told him exactly what I was looking for in the price range I wanted. He proceeded to show me a different and color and tried to persuade me but failed epically. Where Watertown holds their inventory is down the street. While I took the drive with Ricky which felt like awhile, he shared all these statements about Watertown people being cheap people and that he knows what people want. He insisted that he knows what a person is about and is a good judge of character and proceeded to tell me that I am a nice person and should listen to him. Kind of weird and manipulative. As he was trying to find me what I wanted back at the dealership, he was snapping his fingers at me, as if to hurry up and follow up and kept telling me «Maam, Maam, Maam this way, come here, come here.» I felt very disrespected. Noone snaps their fingers at me and rushes me if your trying to get my money. Watertown could not give me the deal I wanted.
I then went to Woburn, where Shaiane Ramos approached me pleasantly and down to earth. We chatted and she took her time with me. As we talked about the car and deal I wanted she made me feel at ease. She was cracking jokes and chit chatting as well. With a little back and forth with her manager and her, I got the deal I wanted and the car I wanted. EASY AND SIMPLE!!! The way car buying should be with ZERO harassment or disrespect!!!
SERVICE is another story. When you make an appointment for the express and the Manager forgets to forward your paperwork to have your car worked on and there is a 30 minute delay because of it, it makes you wonder…

We’ve continued to work with Robert Fahey on all of our new cars. Once you work with him, you’ll never go anywhere else.

Worst customer service. They didn’t call you when your car is ready for pick up even they promised to. The whole place is really shabby compared with Watertown Toyota. They hang up your phone for no reason when calling in. Even though I live in Burlington. I’d rather go to other Toyota which are much far away from my home.

I had a smooth experience in the purchase of my Highlander; however, Woburn Toyota sold my and my husbands cell phone numbers to extended warranty companies and we each get several calls a day from different companies. Rude telemarketers that don’t take no for an answer. I have over 20 numbers blocked so far. How dare they sell our personal information to third party losers! I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau regarding this. Totally unacceptable!

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. I can’t speak for the sales department, but the service department is outright terrible. I have been going here for regular maintenance for my parents cars and my car for 10+ years now (one car actually being purchased here) and what has kept me coming is the convenience of their hours. But their service has and will always be terrible.
My most recent experience happened today. I had a vehicle that had an extended warranty on a part. I called a few days prior and talked to the service department about whether or not the warranty was still valid on my specific vehicle. The person I spoke with on the phone was not helpful at all. The only thing I wanted to know was if the warranty was still valid for me and the person told me «I can’t tell you here, you need to bring it in for us to take a look at.» After repeating myself multiple times that I did not want to waste my time coming in if the warranty was no longer valid and getting more upset every time I had to say it, the guy finally said for me to wait a second while he looked up my vehicle (which was in their system along with my VIN). He comes back a few minutes later and tells me the warranty is still valid. I make an appointment for 7:15am, which he tells me techs come in at 7:30am. I said that’s fine, as it gets me in and out earlier. I told them I was waiting and had to leave by 12pm. I arrived today at 7am and drop off my vehicle. First thing the guy at the service department tells me is techs don’t come in until 8am, not 7:30am and that I am written down as a drop-​off. Great. He is also surprised I’m in for a warranty claim. Great. Meanwhile he is giving me attitude about me believing the techs were actually in at 7:30am. I go wait and after almost an hour, another tech tells me the warranty is no longer valid. GREAT. This was the exact reason I asked over the phone before coming in. They wasted my morning and time I could have used the days prior to fix the issue on my own. This was honestly the last straw. I’ll be taking the three vehicles I normally bring to Woburn Toyota elsewhere. This place doesn’t care about customers, only about trying to make every penny they can from you.

I just leased my second Toyota from Woburn Toyota and it was a seamless and comfortable experience. I worked with Robert Fahey as my salesperson and he went out of his way to communicate and make sure I got the best possible deal. I highly recommend this Toyota location for both getting a car and service.

The price is OK, but they have very bad service. They keep trying to rush you through the buying procedure and do not explain anything even when we ask. All they do is tell us to sign sign sign without explaining. They are also very dishonest. They show us a price, but they say they make a «mistake» and try to raise the price by 500 right when we sign it. When we do not agree to pay that 500 and begin to walk out, they say they will do us a favor and lower the price back. After we sign the contracts, the agent is extremely unresponsive. We try to contact him many time but he doesn’t pick up the phone. They are also very slow at sending the documents to the insurance agent. If you are going to buy your car here, expect bad service and be careful and don’t fall for their dishonest tactics to raise the price.

I went to buy a car they advertised when i called they where «out of stock» then when they tried to match the deal they multiplied price by 3. I walked out after the bait and switch tactic. Did not care too much for the sales person who did not know much. Would say do your research and write down what they say as it changes every seller you talk to.

HORRIBLE!!! If I could give negative stars I would. I am an out of state buyer wanting to but a vehicle they had. They down right refused to sell it to me because I was out if state. Even though it’s listed on a nationwide auto sales site! The sales manager was extremely rude and could care less about selling a car.

What an unpleasant experience… and not only that! I bought a 11,000.00 car that has been in a major accident! And they were NOT upfront with it.
NO ONE EVENT HINTED ! I asked if the car had accidents, and they said NO!
I just brought my car to the mechanic today and he asked me where I bought it from… I said, woburn toyota… He immediately wasn’t happy with it but still went in to look at the car.
Apparently my car has been in a MAJOR ACCIDENT, had the frame re-​worked… and now I’m stuck with this for 5 years!
Apparently you guys have been doing this for years! Putting cars together that should be put together and selling them as NEW.

I went here for the inspection today. Speedy service and provides coffee. Although there was an increase in price of originally 25 $ to 35 $ for car inspection. After the quick service of getting my car inspected I came outside in my car and I smell the stench of a person not showering for days and the stench was so overwhelming that I had to wet my car and wipe it. It smelled like poop straight up someone poop in their pants and sat in my car. So dirty and disgusting. Should be 1 star but it was extremely quick and had coffee.

Small, dumpy, dirty and weirdly located dealership. It’s tucked behind a former factory building. The showroom is tiny, cramped and like something bad from the seventies. The staff is uniformly battered as well. This is not the place to buy your Toyota. You definitely do not want to be stuck in their waiting cubicle having your Toyota serviced there either. Avoid.

I have been having regular service maintenance with this place since 2011. It has been in and out thing until I needed a real repair. My car has the extended maintenance plan, but the car needed some repair which didn’t cover by warranty. While I appreciate they would repair the problem out of goodwill, the process was extremely painful. I had to go back at least 4 times, first time they made the «adjustment» and it didn’t fix the problem, second time they ordered the wrong part. Third time, right part but it didn’t fix the problem. Then forth time ah… MIA… It has been 2 weeks and it is still not fixed yet.
I have been calling daily and each time they would tell me that I would get a call back from a number of people. So far I haven’t gotten NONE. I think this is a minimal thing a service department can do is to give customer update or a call back. Keep the customer up-​to-​date is an important even if there is a problem.
I have been looking for a family van (Sienna) but I extremely hesitate to deal with after-​service.

If I could, I will not give any star to Toyota’s of Woburn at all.
My car was flooded and was towed to this dealership. My insurace people have to go down there and take a look at my car to do the appraisal. I called to Toyota an spoke with Mike, Rick and Rich telling them that I’m dealing with the insurance and advised them not to do any diagnostic until my insurance contact them. But, they wouldn’t listen. All they told me is that «well your car is parked here for more than a week and you’re not allowing us to repair your car’!? why are they concerning about that matter? Really? My insurance will pay for the storage fee. My insurance told me that my car should be total but Toyota told me it can be repair!
My car sat in the sewage water for more than 8 hours, all waters goes in the my exhaust, my engine and the whole interior was completely damage. And Toyota is repairing my car without my permission?
I’m pretty sure that there must be some what miscommunication from one person to another. But, I’m not happy with all the people that work at Toyota on Woburn. All they do, is telling customer how many problem you have on your car and make money from it. ok. let say i allow them to repair my car, I’m 100% percent sure that there will me more problem to it down the road.
*****Just to let all of the customers know. All the advisor that works at any dealership will get commission off customers on every single problem you agree to fix. Let say if they said you need filter change, brake pad replacement, etc… they make commision on every single part that they try to sell it to customers.*****
So back to my story. My insurance told me that I have to go back to Toyota and sign a release form allowing them to tow my car to storage facility. Ok, I went on Saturday. I told Rick Robinson that my car is now totalled and they want me to come down here to sign a release form so that they can tow my car away. Rick said «there no such things like that. The only paper I have for you to sign is the repair form. Do you want to sign it?» OMG… which part of me he don’t understand??? I said my car is now totalled!!! HELLO!!!
Please all customers that goes to Toyota of Woburn… make sure they don’t rip you off. They are so rude, unprofessional, and just try to scam everyone.

Had a flat tire over the weekend, and was happy to find they were opened on Sunday till 4:00 PM. I made it in few minutes before 3:30, there were just few customers waiting at the lounge. No line at all for the front desk. The 3 recipients in the desk all look agitated to go home already, bummed to see a customer walking in. I say I have a flat tire need replacement. Typically a job that takes less than 10 min. The a-​hole says «we’re closing in 30 min I don’t get any walk-​ins anymore». I explain him this is just a tire replacement which should take less than 10 min. The guy explains me that someone needs to «go and pick the tire from the other side of the building». Wow. Really? No kidding. Will never consider this lame dealership for anything. Would rather drive farther up to Littleton to get a decent service.

People here knows their stuff and treat you nice. Customer service at its best!

I had some maintenance done on my car and it was somewhat pricey (about $ 300) but they gave me a complete inspection (visually) of everything with the car and what was needed (oil change, air filter, transmission, driving steering, etc… I really just wanted my rear window shield defogger fixed. They found that the amplifier to heat the coils was defective, but under warranty. They didn’t have the parts, but promised for next day to have it and asked me to bring it back. Then, they found two more things wrong with my car that was under warranty and required to fix it then. I was growing impatient with these guys about the time it took, however they did a great job in taking care of my entire car. I’m glad they fixed everything that was under warranty but wished it was done all in one day… that’s auto mechanics for you… quick and easy money for quick liquid checks and extensive, slow work ethics on the important stuff that matters.

I’ve been visiting this place since 2010 when I brought my car here and have returned here for service each time, with the latest being routine maintenance yesterday afternoon. I liked that I am able to just walk in to the Express Service department on a weekend and have an oil change completed. That the service only took one hour to complete yesterday inspired me to write this review.
Since they have free Wifi and snacks, it made the wait seem that much shorter.

I purchased a Chevy Malibu from here back in September of 2012. I needed a place I could go to with not-​so-​great credit, and I saw the car I wanted online for the price I wanted. Decent enough. Got in touch with them online, and got connected with Robert Fahey, my salesman. He was attentive, friendly, and relatable. He worked hard to try to get me in the car I wanted. I liked him and was thankful for all he did to help me out.
That’s where the easy experience ended. Apparently, after I signed all the paperwork and put down my cash, they told me they couldn’t find the title that came along with the car. They graciously put me in a nice rental for the time I wasn’t in my car, but it was still a pain to try to get insurance started up (and made me a little curious as to why the title wasn’t there in the first place). A few weeks later, I was in the car with the title situation squared away. Okay, no worries.
So I notice, no more than a day after driving off, that my brakes were squeaking pretty significantly. I scheduled an appointment to come back in under my 60 day warranty to have that, and a few other minor issues, taken care of. (Vibrations, etc.) The technicians informed me that there was nothing wrong with the car — that I had «aftermarket parts» and I shouldn’t have any problems, that they always made that noise. Okay???
This is my fault for not taking it to my mechanic in Allston, the guy I trust, but I went a couple months with locking up brakes and squeaking — almost getting into a couple of crashes because I couldn’t stop as easily as I should be able to. I would have taken it back in, but I was so fed up with the dealership (and the warranty ran out) that I just waited until I finally got into my mechanic for an oil change to ask him about it. Turns out the brakes were completely shot — we’re talking worn ALL the way down — my tire also had a dent in the rim and my lug nuts were put on so loosely that he could take them off without using a wrench! Eeek!
Avoid the Woburn Toyota service department. My mechanic told me he’s heard nothing but horror stories, mine included. It’s a shame because I had hoped for better — not so much. I will be going elsewhere to purchase my next vehicle, whenever that is.

Ray Derderian didn’t want to provide a car fax for a vehicle that he sold me because the vehicle was in a car accident, which he with held from me when I asked. The rating for excellent customer service and friendliness was for the only ONE person who tried to make it work, which was Diana DAvanzo, but the follow up from the people that she gave my case to ignored the situation. Diana did everything she could.
I have to say, though, they did make up for it in the end through Service, so I give a lot of credit to the Service Manager for providing the assistance that he did, but the value of the vehicle is what’s unfortunate. I’ve learned my lesson here.
Would I recommend this dealership? I would say «maybe» if there was a maybe button, but just make sure to get a car fax if its used. I really think that Diana DAvanzo goes above and beyond with her job and appreciated her sticking her neck out for me and trying to coordinate with a different sales representative with an attempt to swap the vehicle.
Ken Lussier never returned phone calls and the New Car Sales manager back then was a guy named Steven who wouldn’t honor the numbers that Abdou Ouhaj came up with. Abdou attempted to do his best with the transaction, too, but there’s only so much he can do. If the New Car Sales Manager is dragging his feet, Abdou can only go by what his boss says, and Diana tried her best to work with Steve. Abdou had the right numbers in place, Steve just didn’t want to eat the cost of the depreciation since Ray Derderian lied about the car accident. I would have sued in court and most likely win the case, but I needed to focus on school [exams, papers, etc]. I think that with the way social networking is coming about with reviews, adding my piece of mind can help the next person decide if they choose to use Woburn Toyota.
I had a better experience at Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston, but at the time they didn’t have the vehicle I wanted.

A few months before this update, I suggested «Be certain to check the reviews on
when deciding whether to do business here. The ‘Woburn Toyota’
… reviews especially for the service area are uniformly negative, and are much more consistent with my experience with this dealership. «
An additional comment about the ‘complementary’ Woburn Toyota
page seems in order. The day after I wrote about the negativity of reviews on that page and the mysterious appearance of this duplicate listing for ‘Woburn Toyota’, a single 4 star review for Woburn Toyota did appear. (That review was for sales, whereas the consistently negative ratings are for service-​related problems, easily corrected but bait-​and-​switch threatening and changes might also threaten excess profits.) The large number, at this date *99* total, filtered reviews for the two URLs for this location seems to potentially provide another useful warning of the integrity of management here.

Hmmmm, interesting that this page is opened and has a strange amount of 5 star reviews from Orange Heads with only one single review to their name. Odd, isn’t it? Considering that the business has numerous negative reviews on the original page.

Well, so a good portion of the paint on my car was damaged after being serviced at this location. I brought the car in for regular servicing and it came back to me damaged.

After my experience with Woburn Toyota Service, Scion, what have you, I avoid this place like the plague and heartily recommend that you do the same. Don’t risk your car with the apparent incompetent people that they hire there.

The only reason I ever go to this place is because it’s so close to home. I received a recall notification and brought the car in to be fixed. I had them look at another issue while it was in the shop, they couldn’t determine the cause (i.e. didn’t hear the noise I was referring to). I started the card, drove it 15 feet, heard the noise, turned around, got the tech, who said «oh, that’s the noise you’re referring to?». Yes, that’s the noise… but you already have another car in the shop, so can’t fix the thing I already paid for, and waited 3 hours on… I schedule another appointment, bring the car in, and am told that it’s a 5 hours wait. What was that, I had an appointment in the morning, and you’re ALREADY 5 hours behind schedule? This place is a joke, PLEASE go elsewhere to prevent the inevitable frustration of dealing with these guys.
