ZIP ADVENTURES LITERALLY ROCKED!!! The entirety of the staff was upbeat and welcoming from the moment we walked through the barn doors to get suited up for our big ZIP ZAP ZOOMING adventure.
The adventure began with a wicked fun ride in an old army vehicle that for the very life of me… i can not remember the name BUT just know that the scenery from the open back of the army vehicle was worth the trip in itself! We were able to view some pretty darn cute alpacas and frickin gorgeous mountains before the real ZIP ZAP ZOOMING even began! The wind blew through our hair and ignited our senses as we sailed down the road (well that was about the cheesiest thing i have ever written… but words cant really grasp how fun even the ride was… soooo straight cheese it is… gouda?)
Our guides Cole and Caleb did such a great job of making us all feel comfortable and really embraced the role as TOP CLASS zip guiders. They were approachable, kind, fun and comfortable and these attributes made others feel welcomed, appreciated and most of all safe enough to be vulnerable and take risks… and also have a little fun along the way!
*As a group of about 14 strangers we only introduced ourselves once to our guides BUT both guides made it a priority to learn all of our names and continually called us and encouraged us by name for the entirety of the adventure. This small detail made a huge impact on every single member of the group. I watched individuals become more calm and at ease when their name was either cheered or used to gently encourage them to overcome personal fears. Cole and Caleb understand what it means to pull people together in love and encouragement… Woah…so great.
Then…dot dot dot as if the quality of humans that guided us was not enough– THERE WERE SIX DIFFERENT ZIPS!!! We started of with a wee baby zip (which was still fun and GORGEOUS) and then proceeded to a whole bunch of zips that really allowed us to build and experience the beauty of the surroundings in the most fun way!
You can choose to go upside down on some of the zips and the guides will display some pretty awesome options for getting the very most out of each zip!!! ALSO this is one of the only GROUND TO GROUND zip adventures which means we didn’t have to waste anytime walking up tall towers! There was some extremely mild hiking from zip to zip BUT it was so beautiful that it was do-​able and even added to the quality of the experience!
The zipping included some complimentary waters and POPSICLES woot woot woot! These were both such a blessing as it was quite hot when we zipped!!!
The experience was complimented BEAUTIFULLY with a complimentary wine tasting at the end like wahhhhhhhhhh!!! Not only were we served free tasting of wine… we were also given a variety of complimentary foods to sample right off of the grill WOW.
The entirety of this experience was valued and appreciated. I would highly recommend this place for others looking for FUN, BEAUTY and an overall THRILL of a good time with good people.

I’d give it more stars if I could! The course is fun for every level of adventure-​seeker. You can sit back and enjoy each ride, you can do running starts and you can even zip upside down if you want! The trip took about 1.5−2 hours from the time we left the ranch. Water was provided and there were professional pictures taken which were sold back at the ranch. We were also able to bring our own personal camera too, which was excellent! The views were beautiful as you zip over a canyon with a river running through. There were three guides for our trip — James, Tim and Luke. They were all great! They definitely made the afternoon fun. Overall, a great experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking for outdoor adventures!

Zip Adventures of Vail was absolutely amazing! I had zipped in Branson before, in 2 separate palces, and this one is easily 10X better. The zips over the canyon were breathtaking. The guides, Caleb and Tim, were fantastic and entertaining. They also showed us a few cool zip tricks including going off backwards and upside down. I have some great GoPro footage and pics I wish I could share on here, but you should really go see for yourself.
On zip #5, the guide allowed me to go back out and dangle over the canyon. He came out and pulled me back in after a minute or 2. Talk about a view!!!
I highly recommend this place. Great value for the money!

I rarely give out 5 stars, however, in this case, I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. We came as a group of 7 with the Vail Veterans Program. The trip was just the right amount of hiking and thrilling zip lining over the Eagle River Canyon. I appreciated that we didn’t have to stop ourselves at the end of the line. I’m not known for my coordination so the extra help was welcome.
What really made this experience so much more was thanks to our guides. Hunter Swanson, Kyle Mane, Steve Reid & Ben Zamora… you guys were AMAZING! One of the members of our group was a combat-​wounded vet, double amputee. Our guides ensured that he was able to participate in this adventure with his children and the rest of group. Even in the extreme heat, our guides went above and beyond to carry him between platforms, safely and comfortably. Our guides did all this while keeping us entertained with their humor, educating us on the area and helping some of us (me) overcome my fear of heights. I cannot tell you how much it meant for us to share this experience with our friend despite the obstacles. I cannot thank them and the people at Zip Adventures enough.
I highly recommend ZA for their 5 star service and thrilling adventures for the entire family. Thank you again!!!

zip adventures was amazing. I’m so sorry I forgot the two man crew who went with us for the trip but they were professional, fun and amazing. The trip was a good mix of a little bit of exercise and a whole lot of fun. I never pictured myself doing that and it was just awesome. Thanks for the good time!

Our recent visit zip lining at 4 Eagle Ranch went off without a hitch. Matt, Zach and the rest of the crew welcomed our party of 14 by putting on a great show of unrivaled fun in the Vail Valley. Five star service and excitement.

My family and I went zip lining yesterday with Zip Adventures! We had a blast! My sons have not stopped smiling or talking about it! The guides, Caleb and Sheldon are terrific. The scenery zipping across the canyon is spectacular! None of s had done anything like this before and the guides made it feel like we had done it every day for a year. Highly recommend!!!

OK, this place is a little out of the way. You are told it’s in Vail, but it’s really between Vail and Glenwood Springs, in Wolcott. So much the better! The remoteness makes the hike and zipping over the Eagle River Canyon a much better experience than the commercial, amusement park type feeling in Vail.
The location is a little confusing to get to, and I was late for my reservation, but Andreas was extremely nice and accommodating. Great guy to visit with!

My 8 year old son, Gavin, and I were on a mother-​son trip to Colorado and wanted to experience as much adventure as possible. Gavin was really nervous about zip-​lining by himself, so I was excited to find a company that allowed tandem-​ziplining. The price may seem steep to some, but it was worth every penny!
I was especially impressed with the organization of Zip Adventures. The group wasn’t too big so the kids didn’t get antsy waiting for everyone to take their turn. The guides were experienced, fun, and loved their job (and it showed!).
Gavin and I went tandem the 1^st round… but then decided he wanted to go at it solo. The guides were so supportive and made him feel SO comfortable and safe… and he went solo the rest of the zips! The guides even showed us how to flip upside down — so much fun!
We had an amazing time and I will definitely be coming back when my husband makes the trip with us next time!

First timer. Booked thru the hotel so I was not really sure. Showed up on time. Two guides Evan and Kieran. Excellent knowledge of the activity. They got me extremely comfortable even though I have a fear of heights. Office staff very pleasant to deal with. Photographer — Jacquline — again excellent. They engaged with the entire group. Was a rainy day but these guys were not bothered and went out of their way to get us to enjoy this. I am planning on going back again to them. The last zip line is the best — I wish they have a package that is just that zip line a few times. Don’t bother with the other zip line facilities — I checked them out afterwards. This crew has it right. Absolutely recommend them. On a scale of 10 — a solid 15.

Amazing! Fantastic experience with the guides and people at Zip Adventures! We were a party of 12 — ranging in age from 6 to 65. The people who work all over the ranch could not be nicer. Seriously, the best customer service ever. Our guides were James and Kieran and they were amazing! Made us feel totally comfortable, put up with how loud our family is, and we felt totally safe. My kids (6 & 10) LOVED it, all of the other cousins did, too. The adults all thought it was beautiful and incredible. My mom was the most scared, but they calmed her down and didn’t allow her to not have fun. Do this adventure! Is it pricey? Sure, but we’re on vacation and this was one of the things we wanted to do — but we got a discount because we were such a large party. It was worth every penny to see the beauty of the mountains and the gorge that you go over. And worth it to see the kids faces as they zipped through the air! I bought the DVD of the pics (they took 99) because my camera wasn’t able to get awesome shots. The pics they took were great. We did the 11 am departure (weather was perfect!!), got back in time to eat at the little grill they have set up there, great end to a great day. And, even the kids at the grill are the nicest people I’ve ever encountered!
Final thought — do this with your family! Make your old parents do it, give the kids an adventure, experience it all together! You will not regret it.

Great zip lines with just the right amount of walking from line to line. The guides were great and added to the enjoyment going beyond just the thrill. I have road a good number of zip lines over the years and ALL of them have been very different. What I discovered at this place seems to be the best combination in safety and enjoyment from the feel of the hardness all with way to how you (meaning they in this case) break at the end of the line.
The biggest tip I can give you is to bring a camera. A GoPro with a wrist mount or on a stick would probably be best. (Do not fear the gloves seen being worn in some of the promo videos — for our experience these were NOT needed)
The only downside (and I did not deduct a star for this) is the photos they take are pricey — way too much for the digital copies and the printed form is always something I cringe at. I truly wish places like this would give you only one option — to buy everything from your experience in digital form delivered to your email (via a media share service) for one reasonable price. Then, if someone absolutely needs a ‘hard’ copy sell them a logoed flash drive for an extra few bucks.
Making prints is a waste of everyone’s time and only comes with grief for the employees battling to keep the hardware running.

Our guides were great and the view amazing. If you are looking for a great adventure that is safe, breathtaking, and just down right fun you should come here.

My friend and I went ziplining for my 40^th birthday. I hyperventilated when I clicked the mouse to buy the tickets due to my axiety with heights. I was feeling pretty nervous by the time we got to the first platform. Our guides, Ken and Evan, were very reassuring and professional and they made us feel extremely safe. They really wanted everyone to have a great time. Thanks to their excellent guides, awesome location, inspiring views, and top-​of-​the-​line safety equipment, we had a blast!

On my final zip-​line, I had yelled out going backwards off the ramp saying «Yippie Kay Yay ******er» (FYI, Die Hard is a great movie haha!)
This is one heck of adventure and thanks to our fun tour guides for the amazing hospitality, making sure everyone was safe, and fun! There was six zip-​lines that you’re going across canyons and rivers going backwards, upside-​down, and in tandems! Or how about going backwards, in-​tandem, going upside-​down haha! That’s what me and my cousin-​in-​law did!
First off for anyone who’s doing this for the first time or nervous trying this, they basically triple check everything with your helmet, your two harness straps attached to zipline, and strap across your waist. The first one is pretty simple straight line across about 500 feet that I even went upside down hahah! On the next zips, the difficulty and fun increase to the final zipline going across about 1500 feet and going about 35 mph per hour. At the end of each zipline, there’s always one or two trainers there to catch you if you come in the wrong way or something.
I wouldn’t recommend doing this a bunch of times in your life but once or twice should be enough to experience zip-​lining adrenaline rush. Recommended this place for the great experience and trainers that make you feel safe and having fun at the same time!

OK the 150 per person was a bit pricey for me… but it was a once in a lifetime thing and if I was going to zip, I wanted the best of the best… and from my research — this place was it! You are not just zipping over dirt… here you go over a canyon!!!
The guides we had on our tour were AMAZING — we had such a GREAT time! I am so glad that we tried this place — if you want the best of the best, these boys are it! If you plan to do this only once or twice in your life — go here, i am glad we did!

Great fun with my wife and child. He is six and about 50 pounds and we were not sure he would be able to do it. The guides were fun and mostly professional. The zip lining was safe well constructed and great fun. Six stations with each one a bit longer than the last.
Back at the ranch (literally) the photo guys were very helpful and loaded up a disc for us since they were not busy. I’d do it again in a heartbeat — it was $ 150 a person but worth the money.

As of this writing, it is $ 150 a pop and you get six fantastic zips out of it. It’s a little expensive for my wallet, so it’s something that I personally would not do on each and every vacation to Colorado. It’s certainly worth experiencing once in a lifetime… and maybe a few more times.
I researched these places a lot and found this one to be one of the best. After visiting, I can say it has definitely got to be one of the best… if not THE best. The first five zips will have you zig-​zagging back and forth across the canyon. Each zip is progressively longer and higher off the canyon floor. (So you start of small and easy… just getting your toe in the water.) Also, each zip continues to take you further and further away from where you started on the first zip. In the end, the sixth and final zip runs the length of the canyon taking you nearly all the way back (close to the first platform on the first zip). It’s a very good layout, especially ending with that last, long zip… it’s like a grand finale.
For those who might be afraid: I noticed one thing on each line. At no point was I, or any other zipper for that matter, having to jump off the edge of a cliff. Don’t get me wrong… the lines do cross a very deep canyon, but when you jump off the platforms, and are first hanging with feet in the air, the ground slowly tapers away. So before going over the canyon, you do have a few seconds to get comfortable with the movement on the line and adjust to the feeling of your feet not being on the ground.
Got folks in the party who don’t want to zip? No problem. The central hub and starting point for Zip Adventures begins at the «4 Eagle Ranch». While waiting for my Zip to begin, my part of three relaxed in some rocking chairs on the front porch of the main lodge building. We watched many other folks participate (for $ I’m sure) in other activities such as learning to lasso and shoot rifles. Box lunches were available. If someone wants to stay behind and not zip (which takes about 2.5 hours), I don’t think staying behind will be that bad. I’d say grab a lunch, sit on the porch and enjoy the sites.
Preview the zips or observe: I noticed that the highway running from «4 Eagle Ranch» and I-​70 passes the canyon and the locations of the zip lines. There were a couple of pull-​outs. If you want to see first hand what it looks like, pull over here and take a look.
In the end, glad I did it.

The entire experience from start to finish was professional, safe, exciting, and (most of all) FUN!
From start to finish, the guides check, double-​check, and triple check your gear prior to launch. Just step (or fall LOL) off the platform and enjoy the ride/​view. Get as creative as you like while zipping too… Upside down and backward is my fave! LOL!
Price was reasonable for our group (all together 450 bucks for the three of us) and I can’t say enough good things about the staff. So friendly, engaging, and actually, downright cheerful! Quite a few rec firms here in ATX could use a lesson from these guys in terms of making customers feel at home.

Yes, you can now go ziplining in the Vail Valley. I’d never been before and was a tad nervous, but when our group was assembled I learned that the two «older» ladies in the group (only as a relative term!) had actually been out the day before — and loved it so much that they came back for a second round the next day. And well, they are always doing it on The Amazing Race, and I know I’m braver than at least half those people. Of course, you also have to sign a waiver before they suit you up, but I consoled the lawyer in me by reminding myself that «assumption of risk» also assumes that all the gear is in good working order… you know, just in case and all.
The experience starts off with a fairly short line so that you can get a feel for everything without being up too high or going too fast. Naturally, that just gives you a taste for more. The last line is the longest, at about 1000 feet long and pretty high. The husband made fun of me for hanging on for dear life at times, but I really had a good time (even looking down — the view is incredible) and could have gone through all six lines again. thanks for a great experience!
