We make our pizza dough each day from scratch, hand tossing every pizza before we layer it with the freshest handcut toppings. This owner actually gave me an attitude after me not receiving my order for an hour! I ordered thru Grub Hub, and we actually love their meat lover pizza. After 45 mins of not hearing anything from them, I decided to call them and see whats up. The owner was rude and didnt even bother to listen to what I needed to explain and brushed me off by saying it’s not his fault that he wasnt notified of my order. .blah blah. Ive been a loyal customer to them for the past year and because of his stupid atttitude. I am not returning to this shameful place! He lost a go0d customer. If hes not being informed of food orders thru grub hub, that’s not my problem. Take it out on them not ur customers! A $$ hole

First time ordering from Wood Ridge Pizza sinceIt is within walking distance to me and I haven’t tried them yet.
I really enjoyed the interior of the pizza shop, it was very clean and IS somewhere you can sit down and enjoy your pizza. I felt because it was clean on the inside that the kitchen would probably be just as clean since the dining area was well maintained.
I also found it nice that the people working there were kind. Not that other shops are rude, it was just pleasant to hear them say things like Sir, and Thank You with a breath of some sincerity. It was busy the day I saw there, and they seemed to be very hard workers.
Overall my first impression of this place was good. They seemed to resepect their customers and have a good work attitude.
Down to the tasty bits.
The pizza crust was nice, I liked the taste, and the bite. It had a good texture.
The sauce wasn’t overly sweet, which I enjoyed since I am not a fan of sweet sauce.
The cheese could be a little more pronounced, it was a little bland.
It was overall good pizza. the toppings were evenly distributed so each slice was not lacking toppings, though they could put more per pie.

Pizza was amazing, wings are FRESH, not frozen and so delicious!!! We ordered pick up right before closing time (we didn’t realize how close to closing time we were) and they were very courteous on the phone and in person. I give this place an A+ FIVE STAR… This will be the only place I order from, from now on!!!

One of the worst pizza places in the neighborhood. I would rather frozen pizza over ordering from here. The cheese had no flavor as well the sauce lacking flavor. We also ordered cheese fries and the small fry order they gave smothered in cheese and bacon was also not very good.

So the last time I ordered wings, they give less! It used to be an order of 10, and now it’s 7 and they are smaller and lack flavor of the «old» wings. They were also slow in preparation (I ordered ahead of time).
My friend ordered their broccoli and chicken pizza and was underwhelmed. I was originally excited to have this place close by, but it’s been a disappointment.

Good food. Best pizza in town and we have plenty of pizza choices in town. Also had pasta and other entrees and enjoyed them.
Steer clear of garlic bread though.

Ordered via grubhub an 18″ pizza with sausage and mushroom, zeppoles and boneless buffalo wings.
Pizza came fast however 2 slices were folded over on the pie because it looks like the box doesnt fit an 18″ pie. Unacceptable. The cheese and everything was all messed up on these 2 slices. If you want to stand a chance against the 3 other Wood Ridge pizzerias you have to at least be on par with them and this is the first time I’ve ever gotten a pizza where slices were folded over onto the pie.

Food is good… have to give them that. But the shitty attitude you’ll get when you place your order over the phone, kills this place! (man & young girl are just as rude) My neighbors also hate having to call because of the rudeness. (It’s not just me)
God forbid you ask for bread with your dinner too. 0 – 3 on that one.
The competition is too steep in this area. Treat your customers better!

Great Place! Excellant service, as soon as I walked through the door i was greeted very professionally and friendly, not like other pizzerias where I can stand at the front counter for a couple minutes before somebody asks me if i’ve been already helped. The menu is done right, alot of variety and information on the food. The prices are very competitive compared to other pizzerias and cafes. I had a large chicken ceasaer salad with extra chicken and it came out less pricey then I pay at most other pizzerias while the plate was packed full of chicken and dressing both on the salad and two extra cups on the side! Most other places wont give you as much even if you ask for extra or end up paying more! The lady at the front counter was very generous and even cleaned the table and trash right as soon as I finished eating. All in all great place deff worth a try, I will be returning again!

Ok, so I was lazy, didn’t want to go out in the snow, but isn’t that kinda what delivery is about? Since Foschini’s in Lyndhurst got so inconsistent in quality, there has been NO TRULY good delivery around. It’s like I have to go up to Kinchley’s in Ramsey or Fresco in Montclair for REALLY good pizza, or settle for less in the closer area. Anyway, Ralph’s is closed today, saw the grand opening menu for this place in my pile of mail, figured it was meant to be. Called them, dude asks me if I can hold on a second, I reply «Of course» not realizing that I’d be spending the better part of the afternoon waiting. Kidding aside, it took at LEAST several minutes, I almost hung up. Then he tells me that it’s going to take at LEAST an hour to an hour and a half for my food to arrive. He hadn’t asked where I am to arrive at this time assessment, and it was about 1:15 in the afternoon when I called. So I got the impression that these guys aren’t all that into what they’re doing. Now I’m here on Unilocal trying to find someplace decent nearby. =o/

Just ordered dinner from Wood Ridge Pizza and what a delight!
I just got home from work and found a menu in my newspaper.
I showed my family and said lets try it.
We ordered a cold antipasto and large veggie pie. It was AWESOME!
The veggie pizza was a bit pricy but well worth it. The large pizza was really an extra large filled with fresh veggies & tasty cheeses. The cold antipasto had fresh mozz, olives, red peppers, onions and other veggies. It was a great surprise.
The other nice surprise was that the antipasto had the dressing on the side. This was perfect because I don’t know to many people who like soggy lettuce.
A definite «Must try» restaurant !
