DBs did a great job at my mothers house when they changed out her water heater. They helped me coordinate the work from Florida. My mother was so impressed with Tommys work and the care that he put into making sure that he left her house nicer than when he got there. Thanks again guys!

You guys came out on a holiday weekend (Friday after Thanksgiving), AFTER 7 p.m., when no other plumber was available until the following Monday, to fix a main line leak in my house. We couldn’t use sinks, toilets, showers without it flooding the basement. Thank you! Our DB plumber was friendly, professional and efficient even after working all day with everyone else’s plumbing issues. Thanks for going the extra mile.
NOTE: Also, from a safety standpoint, I really appreciated the email with the photo and name of our plumber so I knew what to expect when he arrived.

We had an issue with our latest service but the owner Dave recitified it and treated us like family.

Had DB plumbing out to fix a shoddy repair on a hose bib from another general contractor. Repair was done a few weeks ago but we couldnt test it and when the new washer came it leaked all over the place. They were quick, respectful and presented professionally. No worries so far.
I showed the guy where the leak was, the wall was opened up already, and I even turned the water back on so he could see the leak himself and be confident with what he had to do.
So I told him since the other contractor failed on the cold line supply, go ahead and replace the hot as well, since I didn’t trust the work.
Ok, so he starts working up my quote. 25 minutes later and a few phone calls he tells me $ 560! That is absolutely ridiculous and I tell him so!!! He says ok, let me call in and see what we can do.
While he is doing that I spend 5 minutes doing a refresher course on YouTube in how to repair the pipe. I’m no dummy so I know this is a simple job. He comes back in and tells me $ 478 and I’m still choking!
I ask how much just to do the one that is leaking and he tells me $ 350. I’m done at this point. I tell him I will pay for the trip but I will have my dad repair it. Ok, that will be a $ 126 diagnosis fee. Diagnose what!!! The pipe is clearly leaking, he didn’t do anything and spent 35 of the 45 minutes onsite trying to gouge me. Here is your payment GOODBYE!
I fixed both of them myself.
30 minutes of labor, only because I found another leak after I repaired both pipes. 2^nd repair just needed Teflon tape and another turn on the hose bib.
Total material cost minus the 30 minutes labor was $ 24. So based on my simple math these guys are charging something like $ 908 an hour for labor.
They should be ashamed!!! Watch out for these price gougers!

We had a plumbing problem at our shop on a Wednesday night. The toilet was not draining properly. DB came out the following day about noon and ran a camera to diagnose the problem as grout. Apparently, some contractor dumped unused grout into the piping which set up and eventually let to clogging. DB then used a high pressure water jet to break up the grout and flush out the system. DB was very professional and explained their work as they went. We are really happy with their prompt service and professionalism.

just amazing! very simple pvc pipe replacement but was connected to a 20 year old converter. matthew not only replaced the pipe, he ended up taking off the bonnet nut as well as the cartridge out that was stuck in the base. i ended up breaking the pvc pipe trying to twist off the nut. he was very honest and worked his tail off trying to take off the nut and the cartridge. great plumber. the tip i gave him was just not enough.

From the initial contact, DB’s was extremely professional and polite. They arrived during the time stated and did an outstanding job making the repairs. In addition, David recognized the sump pump needed to be replaced and simply made a recommendation. I didn’t feel pressured at all and due to his experience and not wanting any potential problems in the future, I asked him to replace it. David is an expert in his craft and cares about the customer. These traits are hard to find. DB’s has a customer for life!

DB’s was contacted by my home warranty company and they then reached out to me. They were able to fit me in that afternoon as I had had no hot water for four days (because the ‘other’ company couldn’t be bothered to show up when they said they would). The technician came out when he said he would, did the work quickly and honestly. He was transparent about the process and what would happen if it happened again, what work would be covered by my home warranty company and what would be out of pocket.
All of the team members that I spoke with were professional friendly. I will definitely go back to DB’s if needed and have already recommended them to others.

It’s never a good situation when you have to call a plumber. But let me tell you, if you need one, these are the people to call! During one of Virginia’s coldest weeks, despite being inundated with burst pipe calls, they rushed to my home with same day service. Everyone else was telling me I would have to wait at least three days! Not only was I treated with empathy and courtesy by Jenn, the office manager, but the expert, David, echoed that respect in person when he quickly determined where the water came from and fixed the problem. God forbid, I have any future floods or plumbing problems in my home but if I do, I will call no others. Thanks to them for their part in getting my basement back to normal!

DB’s replaced my Hot Water Heater and also removed and replaced some old leaking copper pipes in my living room ceiling.
Prompt on-​time service. Left the job clean and neat.

Even if your handy it pays to call in the experts. I am an auto mechanic and would say I’m pretty handy on fixing things.
Well at our shop we had a faucet that would always leak, we could not seem to fix it. DB’s came out, he had to make 5 trips back to his truck to fix our faucet that came from who knows where (cheap no name brand).
They had the parts needed to fix this thing and saved me at least 5 trips to Lowes, and the part he needed to fix it are not available at Lowes.

We had some water leaking into my garage and we could not figure out what was causing it. We had to shut off our water, pack up the kids and go to my parents house.
I called 4 plumbers, all booked solid. I called DB and they were booked solid too but they called me a few minutes later and said they could squeeze me in! Thank God!
They showed up in the time window they gave me and got straight to work. We were able to determine that the leak was coming from my neighbors condo.

I have a water heater that was leaking and dripping water in the room below.
As it was under home warranty and as it was urgent, I was referred to DB Plumbing by the warranty provider to assess the situation. Plumber arrived on time and checked things out and could not identify the problem. He said they would get back to me in 24 hours with a follow on. After 26 hours having received no call I called them — the reply I got was that they were not able/​interested to do the work. Wow… Meanwhile I am living another day with no water and ongoing cleanup as I find someone else who can help.

Matt was able to diagnose and fix my plumbing issue quickly. Very knowledgeable and he even arrived early. My friend Ashlee recommended DB’s Plumbing and I’m glad I contacted them.
