I usually just go here for the almond bubble tea w/banana. Not sure if this is specific to the person who was behind the counter at the time, but the tapioca was undercooked and resulted in the boba being crispy. The almond smoothie tasted fine, but no point in coming here for the bubble tea if the boba is not made properly. The lady behind the counter was friendly and accepted cards.

This is the corner coffee counter inside the food court at Global Market. The best thing about this café is that it serves halo-halo. For those that might not know, halo-halo is a Filipino cold liquid confection that is made with shaved ice, sugar, milk cream, chunks of different asian fruits and gels, and ube ice cream. I found out through a friend that the owner(the little old lady behind the counter) is Filipino. I saw the bubble tea posters displayed on the wall and decided to try a mango bubble smoothie. She filled the cup to the brim, thanks for that! The mango smoothie itself was great, but I’m not a fan of the bubbles drink though. Those dark brown bubbles just didn’t seem to taste right with the citrus mango juice. Prices were a little high for the presentation, selections are really minimal and service was kinda so-so. Lola was fishing something out of her pocketbook for like 5 minutes. Even after I shook my keys on the counter to let her know that I was there. Another minus for me is that she accepts CASHONLY.
