Harbour View

This review is long over due. I had my wedding reception at Harbor view in June of 2015. Lisa and her staff were AMAZING. I felt like I had my own personal wedding planner. I could not believe all of the personal attention we received and for such an affordable cost! From beginning to end she made my wedding reception effortless. She made recommendations which I am so glad that i took (like the caterer which was an equally fantastic experience) and walked me through everything. We had our reception on the open veranda and it was the perfect setting. I wanted an outdoor wedding but was worried about the weather. It turned out perfectly. It sprinkled on and off all day so it was great to have the best of both worlds and the rain stopped just in time for pictures outside. I could not have asked for ANYTHING more. I felt like they went above and beyond even though you can tell that they just love what they do. They made sure that everyone was taken care of at all times. I wish everyone this kind of experience on their big important day! I cannot say enough about Harbour View!!!

Our experience with Harbour View and their staff was nothing short of exceptional throughout the entire process of our wedding. My wife and I recently got married this past April, and we decided to have our reception at Harbour View. We were so confident in our decision to choose this place over other venues, that we decided to book them nearly a year and a half prior to our wedding date. It’s a good thing that we did because this place books up fast, and after our experience, it’s easy to see why. The staff at Harbour View made the entire planning process seamless, eleviating any type of anxiety or stress that is typically associated with planning a wedding. Our wedding coordinator, Holly, did an AMAZING job in dealing with all of the different vendors that were involved, as well as making sure that my wife and I were comfortable and kept up to date with every aspect of the planning phase. Additionally, she went well out of her way to make sure that every detail that my wife and I had discussed with her in regards to what our vision was for our wedding, came into fruition. Lisa, who also happens to be the owner, also went above and beyond to ensure that our day was everything that we wanted an more. We have already recommended Harbour View to pretty much everybody we know. Not just for wedding celebrations, but for any type of occasions. This was indeed money well spent.

Harbour View’s work, dedication, love, and energy was beyond our expectations. Andrea and the rest of the HV team did an exceptional job throughout the wedding preparation until the wedding sparklers send off. They are professional, talented, accommodating, and so much fun to work it. I especially love the fact that HV staff have strong work ethics and they are very confident women!
The rehearsal was straight forward and clear. Andrea explained everything and we were so very thankful for that. She did everything and all we had to do was follow directions!
The decorations and the amount of work they did to make the ceremony veranda and the reception ball room absolutely beautiful blew my mind away! I couldn’t focus for a few seconds when I saw how beautiful the ceremony was. My parents were walking me down the aisle and I just couldn’t believe my eyes. Jarad and I did not spend a tremendous amount of money on decorations and HV staff did an awesome job making it look tasteful and absolutely breathtaking!
We also appreciate the fact that HV staff was able to include the sparklers send off. We did a send off upstairs because it was pouring outside. After our send off upstairs, we were ready to call it a night but Andrea and Lisa were unpacking all the sparklers and we tried to convince them both that it was not a big deal but they were very persistent. The rain let off so we were able to do it. We were so grateful that they were able to pull it off and I couldn’t believe how beautiful the pictures turned out!!! WOW!

I was looking for a place to host my best friend’s bridal shower last May. I needed a location that could host at least 35 people. I searched Woodbridge, and I could not find any location that was suitable. The only places that I could find with reasonable prices were the club houses of a few HOAs. Those places did not compare to the beautiful location at Harbour View.
I selected a small room on the lower level. It had beautiful windows on three of the walls of the room. They provided linens, tables, chairs, mirrors for center pieces and large faux potted plants that really helped fill the room. They also allowed me to use my own caterer (they approved prior to use). The location has ample parking and the brick building is beautiful.
The women at Harbour View were very helpful and allowed me extra time for set up and take down, which was very much needed. I could not have asked for a better location and group of people to help me planning my event. The shower was a complete success and the bride was wowed at the beautiful location. Everything was perfect! Thank you Harbour View.

My wife and I can’t say enough good things about Harbour View and their wonderful staff. A+ service from day one and well after the actual wedding day was over. Great location in Woodbridge, VA with great parking, easily accessible for guest off the highway and a great view on the water. A lot of places that my wife and I visited had great reception spaces with really bad surrounding areas where the Bathrooms, parking lot and overall ground were not well kept. However, We knew we found the perfect package once we toured Harbour View. The words «You guys do not need a wedding planner» was scary. However, everything turned out great and everything that was in the contract was well delivered. My guest had nothing but great things to say as well. If I had to renew my vows (maybe 25 years from now… lol). This would be my first choice without a doubt. Wonderful experience!

We recently had our wedding reception at Harbour View and it was amazing! From the beginning, Marcy and the rest of the Harbour View employees helped us with planning and made the whole process go smoothly. They always responded to my emails or phone calls immediately. They were always friendly and willing to help wherever it is needed. Harbour View doesn’t treat you like a customer– they treat you like a close friend or family. Our wedding reception was absolutely perfect and I attribute most of that to Marcy, Brooke, and the rest of the Harbour View staff who worked behind scenes to make sure everything went smoothly. Our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful the reception site was. Choosing Harbour View for the wedding reception was the best decision we made during planning. I highly recommend Harbour View!

Beautiful facility, and extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Originally, we thought we just rented a location — but the Harbour View staff also assisted (greatly!) with the vendor coordination, set-​up, and other details before and during the event. The evening was magical and I give Harbour View much of the credit! It truly could not have been more perfect.
