The present firm is the remnant of the once middle sized Peck, Peck & Associates Architects and subsidiary Peck, Peck & Associates, Interiors. Ma and Pa Peck founded the original architectural firm in Occoquan, VA in the 1970s together with deposed partner Williams. Catering mainly to federal contracting, and somewhat successful, the astonishingly abysmal ethical practices of Ma and Pa are legendary in the DC design and construction community. Although the next generation daughter apparently operates the present firm, no doubt Ma and Pa still pull strings from behind and it is unlikely that fruit doesn’t fall from the tree. If you encounter these folks, back away quickly … Don’t expose your back! … then run like hell and watch your wallet!
