Prestige Chiropractic specializes in the best chiropractic care Northern Virginia has to offer. Owner Dr. Lewis Pauley is dedicated to helping all of his practice members to achieve not only the BEST spinal and nervous system health possible, but also to helping everyone be their personal best in everyday activities. Dr. Pauley has treated practice members as young as a few days after birth to the elderly. Dr. Pauley is an excellent chiropractor in treating the CAUSE, not just the SYMPTOM. He has completed extra-​curricular training in upper and lower extremity manipulation, as well as treatment methods for Temporomandibular Joint problems (TMJ).

History

Established in 2012.

Dr. Pauley opened Prestige Chiropractic in July 2012. Dr. Pauley wanted to bring the Northern Virginia area to the front lines of health and wellness in the nation. By July 2014, Dr Pauley moved Prestige Chiropractic to a larger independent facility on Noble Pond Way. Prestige Chiropractic is currently the number one referral source for CrossFit athletes, MMA fighters, marathon runners, and athletes and individuals of all walks of life. By treating problems before they START, we can ensure future generations can live longer and happier PAIN FREE lives!

Business Owner

Dr. Lewis Hutchison Pauley is the owner/​doctor of Prestige Chiropractic. Dr. Pauley is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Chiropractic and Physiotherapy. He currently holds professional licenses in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Dr. Pauley’s chiropractic focus includes improving overall nervous system function, correcting biomechanical and postural errors, and the relationship between nutrition and wellness. Originally from Barboursville, WV, Dr. Pauley has benefited from chiropractic care since he was very young. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in physics from Marshall University in Huntington, WV in 2006, Dr. Pauley began his studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Dr. Pauley also completed extracurricular courses in caring for upper & lower extremity misalignments, and temporomandibular joint misalignments. He also became studied in NIMMO Receptor Tonus therapy. In 2009, Dr. Pauley had the pleasure of providing care to villages in Vietnam.

Dr Pauley is great and his care has helped me overcome a nagging shoulder injury. My mobility is better than ever and it’s reflected daily in my workouts. His office hours are very convenient as well. Prestige Chiropractic comes highly recommended!

I was recommended to Dr. Pauley after I blew my knee out in an accident.
He helped me diagnose what the cause of my discomfort and lack of movement was, then he proceeded to do couple of things.
A. He helped me slowly get movement and strength of my leg back.
B. Assign me couple of work outs I needed to do at home in order for me to get better.
C. Spine set, why of course yes!
Overall, he helped me feel much better and get back to walking comfortably!

Unlike many doctors that practice chiropractic techniques and methods to better your spine. I must say that Dr. P knows what the heck he is doing. I had a cervical fusion on my C5-​C6 disc and most of the time I would get lots of tension headaches or severe lower back pain that’s out of my control. Ever since I started visiting Dr. P he’s been able to realign my vertebrae from my neck to my lower back, reducing the intense amount of pain I would experience before.
In March 2015, I was rear ended by some knucklehead texting on his cell phone causing me to hit my knee underneath the steering wheel, causing more pain on my neck as well as my lower back. I was devastated bc I was scared how bad it was going to be. But Dr. P rebuilt my self-​confidence and said: «OB, no worries!» We’ll have you back and ready as long as you continue to visit me 2 – 3 times a week you will regain your strength again. I said ok and so I did. Slowly, but surely I am feeling bits better since having my spine adjusted to keep it in place and avoid any nerve irritation which can sometimes occur.
If you want a good, knowledgable, funny and well-​experienced chiropractor then stop by and schedule an appointment with Dr. P. He will definitely tell you how it is and rebuild your confidence that he can help out as long as your willing to put in 100% of your time into his devotion for helping people get better, not worse. Just don’t book during my slot at 6:30pm M, W & F. (Just kidding!!!) Go right ahead.

Dr. Pauley is the best chiropractor I have seen in over 10 years. His knowledge and spirit shows as he teaches you how to continually care for yourself at home. He has taught me exercises I can do at home to treat both my plantar fasciitis and shoulder impingement.
I drive over 30 miles each way to see him three times a week because his practice is that good. Within the first two weeks of visits, I have been able to gain mobility back in shoulder and wake up in the morning pain free.
Dr. Pauley is easy to work with for anyone who has a busy schedule. He is even open on Saturdays when most other chiropractors are not! I appreciated the evening hours that allowed for my continual care. I highly recommend him to everyone I know and meet.

Excellent chiropractic care. Dr. Pauley takes a very holistic approach to chiropractic care and actually teaches you things you can do at home to help yourself which I really appreciate.
About a month ago, I had intense pain in my neck and called Dr. Pauley. He made time to see me that same day and immediately took care of the problem in my neck and started working on other problem areas as well. He also taught me some mobility exercises to do on my own to help myself.
I’ve continued to see him regularly even after the problem in my neck was taken care of, and travel 30+ miles each time to see him, even though there are chiropractors much closer to me.
Each time I visit him he teaches me something new that I can do at home.
I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for chiropractic care and/​or want to learn mobility exercises and things you can do at home to take care of your body.

Dr. Pauley is awesome! He is very knowledgeable and utilizes more techniques than chiropractic adjustments to help patients get and stay healthy and fit. The best thing are the mobility exercises he teaches, so I can do things at home that help. Then I just have to go in every now and then for him to do some fine tuning. He is high energy, and super friendly, so stop on by!

Dr. Pauley is awesome! His passion and enthusiasm about chiropractic care just bubbles out of him. It’s so great to see a doctor who is so excited about his profession. He really takes the time to get to know his patients and help select the best treatment plan. In addition, he educates his clients on exercises they can do at home to further help. He is the best.

Just want to take the time to give credit where it’s due! Dr. Pauley has made a great difference in back and neck pain in the few visits I’ve had with him. Dr Pauley helped me a few years back with a low back issue I was having after an accident at the gym. He was very quick and good at getting me back into shape. I have had to use him every once in awhile since then and had great success every time. Can’t recommend dr p enough, great guy.

Dr. Pauley is great. I started seeing him over a year ago when I could barely turn my neck. Now, although I am better from that, I continue to see him for maintenance because I never want to get as bad as I was when I first met him. He adjusted me throughout my pregnancy and I even entrusted my newborn to his care. My baby was unable to turn his head and Dr. Pauley was able to help him! I highly recommend Dr. Pauley!

I can’t say enough about Dr. Pauley. I came to see him because I was experiencing shoulder pain that was so bad I could not sleep. Under his care, I now have no pain in my shoulder and i have much more mobility in my shoulders than i ever have. He also has taught me techniques to prevent injuries in the future. Luckily for me, Dr. Pauley is a member of our local Crossfit gym and understands sports related injuries from a first hand perspective.
