RCC has a very hands-​on approach when working with your child and we believe it’s not only important to educate the little minds but the little hearts of our future generation. In addition to the self-​designed, hands on curriculum, we find that a child’s learning potential is optimized when learning is made fun so we have a strong emphasis on learning through play. The most important thing is that when a child walks through these doors he or she feels comfortable, safe, loved and appreciated for who they are as a person. Ever since I was young I’ve had a passion for childcare & child development. I started out like many teens, babysitting for family members & then I became a young entrepreneur adding non family to my list of babysitting clientele. In middle school I attended several courses of study including junior lifeguard training and CPR & First Aid Certificate’s. In high school I focused all of my elective classes on Child Development Training. As a young adult I attended vocational school for pediatric nursing. I took my first job as a teacher’s assistant at a Christian Preschool and after a few years I left there to become a Lead Teacher at Children Of America. When I became a Mommy myself I decided to open up my own daycare from my home in Lake Ridge Va. I have since been consistently rated #1 for daycare’s in the area. I have developed lasting relationships with families and have outstanding references, ratings & reviews.
