Sequin of Events is a full service event coordination and design firm, serving Washington D.C., Maryland, Northern Virginia areas. We specialize in creating unique events while incorporating sophisticated style and individualized concepts. History

Established in 2014.

Sequin of Events was founded in 2014 based simply on a deep rooted passion to help others. After years of managing, planning and designing events in the DMV for specialized companies it became apparent that most were deeply vested in the financial gain at times losing sight of the most important responsibilities, our clients. At SOE, clients come first and we believe that expertise and customer service is unsurpassed. Our history is your future, creating lasting memories your special event.

Meet the Business Owner

Samantha C.

Business Owner

As owner and director of event services of SOE I oversee the operation of every special event, including creating personalized service packages, and monitoring client/SOE designated coordinator interaction. My earliest memories involve planning tea parties for my dolls, creating a grocery list by coloring items in the store circular and always having a «mead» pad and pencil on hand in case I needed to take notes. Upon graduating college and entering graduate school I supported myself by working as a catering floor manager for the local convention center. After completing my graduate education I relocated to the DC area accepting a position as a Special Events Operations Manager, gaining experience in event sales, marketing, and event coordination. In 2014 I decided to develop my own event coordination and design firm to provide clients with an overall service system from navigating sales contract jargon to selecting functional décor.
