At our dentist office, we understand the importance of comprehensive dentistry. Steven D. Strickland, DDS has provided family dentistry and restorative dentistry for over 25 years. He offers a wide array of services for both children and adults including exams, cleanings, dental implants, veneers, extractions, teeth whitening, TMJ treatment, and oral sedation. We know that it can be hard to find a quality dentist for your children. For your convenience, we start dental treatment for kids as early as three years old. We believe seeing the dentist at an early age is critical in promoting healthy habits and preventing future dental issues.

History

Established in 1990.

Steven Strickland, DDS is a graduate of Woodbridge Senior High School and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He immediately began his solo practice of family dentistry in Lake Ridge upon graduating from Case Western Reserve University, School of Dentistry in 1990. In July 2010, Dr. Strickland received his Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry for achieving over 500 hours of continuing education and passing a comprehensive exam covering all aspects of dentistry. He has been recognized by Northern Virginia Magazine as one of the top cosmetic and general dentists in the area as well as one of the Best Dentists in the D. C, Maryland, and Virginia areas by Washingtonian Magazine.

Dr. Strickland has completed over 600 hours of continuing education courses including the Implant Training Mini Residency Program and is certified to use the Biolase Laser. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Society, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, Woodbridge Study Club, and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
