Great customer service! My sons have extra wide feet and so I’ve made approx 6 trips to this store over the past 3 years. The staff is always very knowledgeable about sizing (which models run big or small) and so patient with my wiggly boys. If they do not have a size, they make the effort to find other models and make suggestions for alternatives with the pros and cons.
On our last visit they handled my 2 year old’s full blown meltdown with patience and compassion and held a stack of shoes for him to try on until he calmed down.
They also have a shoe donation program with a drop off box at the front of the store. This was a great opportunity to teach my older son about compassion for others and he donated a pair of his shoes.
I think this store is great. Whatever they are doing with training, they are doing right. I have been to 3 other stride rite stores and my kids have been measured wrong, my loyalty number has been lost, and staff has seemed clueless about children’s shoes.
