The service was good. I was pleased with the results of alterations to two of my most expensive suits. However, the only negative comment is that it should be highlighted that this office is located inside the Burlington coat factory store which also located inside the Potomac Mills mall. Trust me; this is very inconvenient! So, if you’re potentially altering several items, be prepared to carry them a good distance through the mall or through the back entrance to the store front near the Sears.

Do not go here! I had taken 4 suits for tailoring. Everything seemed fine at first. The problem started when I picked up the suits. The first problem were the jackets were not fitting in the shoulder. The second issue were the buttons for the braces were in the wrong position and too spread out. I confronted the operator about this. He assured me that they didn’t touch any area that would affect the sleeves/​shoulders. He argued that the buttons were in the correct place. We finally agreed that I would bring in a suit that he could use as a template. He had the gall to suggest that the manufacturer cut the suits more athletically despite the suits being the same size and model and big & tall. He did move the buttons closer but failed to put them in the same location. Within 2 weeks, I had to have 2 buttons repaired. At least one suit has been Cut so they’re high waters. Do not use this company.

Mr. Yasin has completed an excellent tailoring of an older, high-​quality three-​piece suit of mine, which has been hanging unused in my closet for the past nineteen years. He took in my 100% wool vest and jacket, and created a slimmer, more athletic appearance. The magic was really done on my trousers. When I brought them in they had cuffs, pleats, and belt-​loops, which were all popular when I had the suit custom made, back in the ‘90s. Now, the waist and pockets are completely smoothed-​out with no belt-​loops, nor pleats. Mr. Yasin also removed the cuffs, yet he still left enough fabric to reverse the tailoring if I ever want the cuffs put back. Wonderful attitude and customer service!

Quick and dirty: These guys are pros. They will make you look good. Their location is inside the Burlington Coat Factory (you can go there even if you buy elsewhere — I bought at Jos. A. Banks). They charge a reasonable (even low) price. Highly, highly recommend!
Details: New to the Woodbridge/​Dale City area, I knew I needed to find a good tailor. Finding myself in need of a quick tailoring on a new suit this past weekend, I called over to Y&Z and spoke with Mr. Yasin. He was incredibly helpful over the phone and told me to come in right away.
Immediately, I knew he was good when he made recommendations on my suit that I had not even noticed. His attention to detail while being incredibly considerate makes him one of the best tailors I’ve ever had. However, it all comes down to follow-​through — you really have to feel good in your threads and Mr. Yasin came through, big time. I arrived and he had the suit ready for me to try on. BAM! Perfect! His job not only looked clean and well-​done; he also made me look several pounds lighter. THAT is impressive.
Mr. Yasin and Y&Z’s prices were INCREDIBLY REASONABLE. If you are expecting to have a suit tailored for cheap, you will get cheap. These guys did an incredible job, on the rush and all for well under $ 100.

Just want to say that these guys are the best tailors I know in Alexandria area. They are men of their word. I had to get a suit tailored several days before a wedding in Chicago and couldn’t wait for it to get done. They offered to ship it, and we estimated the cost to be about $ 15 to ship, it turned out to be about $ 130 because of the 4^th of July holiday coming up. Yasin shipped it at his own cost to keep his word I would have the suit before the wedding. I cannot say enough good things about a business that will take a loss in order to make sure they stay true to their word to get a customer his product on time.
