I would avoid this company at all costs.
They offered us a very good deal for our flowers or the wedding. We booked them about a year in advance. When it came time to sit down with Patty to discuss what we wanted, it was like talking to the wall. I’m not an expert in flowers but I would expect a floral company to know more than I do and to offer some ideas.
Eventually, I randomly chose a photos on the wall of a centerpiece that I really liked. Assuming it is something simple that they have done for a wedding before. Patty kept on telling me that it would be extra for this, extra for that, and that the flowers would be arranged a certain way. In our contract, it stated that they could give us any arrangement we wanted. There was the scam. It was a lie. I insisted I wanted exactly what was shown in the picture displayed in their waiting area. It seemed like we had to discuss this over a thousand times. It seemed like she could not give me the centerpiece displayed on the wall of their facility. I just don’t understand why that was so hard to do.
Ultimately, she gave me a different centerpiece and told me that it would cost more money for the flowers displayed in the photo. When trying to contact the owner/​manager, they were EXTREMELY RUDE!!! Incompetent and rude. I have never ever been so frustrated with a business in my entire life. I repeatedly asked to speak to someone over the phone but instead got childish emails and down right OFFENSIVE! No name, no phone number, nothing. No one but a coward behind the computer writing back and forth to me and my husband. We tried to be professional.
It was then too late for us to hire another florist. They are incompetent and RUDE and just not meant to be in the florist industry.
The flowers they gave us looked like it was put together by a 5 year old! It was so plain and the flowers did not arrive fresh at all.
On our actual wedding day, the rude delivery person requested that we sign the papers stating that all the flowers arrived in perfect condition as we had ordered them. We told him that we haven’t even seen the flowers yet! Mind you, we were in the middle of taking photos for our wedding. Everyone representing the company is just rude and unprofessional!
We also requested rose petals to be decorated on our cake and that was NEVER done. We had a plain wedding cake with NO flowers. I am so disgusted with this company!
Weddings only happen once in a lifetime and I wish so badly I could take back working with Jack and Rose! Avoid them if you want to have a better wedding day with more competent workers. I know very well who is behind the computer so please do not write back to me on here. I see what a façade you put on here on Unilocal.If people knew how you spoke with your customers through email!

We worked with Patty at Jack and Rose as referred to us by Westbury Manor. We had a very limited budget, and she was able to make it work for us for our centerpieces, bouquets and such, and even flowers for the cake. Westbury Manor included flowers for our ceremony, so we did not need Jack and Rose to cover that for us. The delivery person for the flowers on the day of the wedding was very nice and attentive and helped to make sure everything got to where it was supposed to be. Our centerpieces looked amazing, and the bouquets were absolutely beautiful! I am actually having my bouquet preserved, and this is coming from someone who honestly did not see the point in spending money on flowers for the wedding, the bouquet was that pretty. We highly recommend Jack and Rose for any event, they are very professional, budget-​friendly, and do amazing work.

Jack and Rose offered me an amazing deal last December through email when I initially consulted with them for my wedding for September ’15. I have been consulting with other florists as well but could not pass up on the deal Jack and Rose had offered. They do require you to secure a fast deal and are a cash only business. I had met with Patty at their office and she was very warm and welcoming. Since the initial meeting, I have met with her 2 more times to pick the actual bouquets, corsages, and centerpieces and to see the sample piece of the floral arrangement I chose for the wedding. Patty was very detail oriented and I double checked to make sure everything we have discussed was in the contract. When you make a change or addition, they do require a quick cash payment within the next few days. I didn’t mind the drive since they had already saved me a lot of money on the wedding. The day of the wedding, the flowers were absolutely gorgeous and I could not be more pleased with the bouquets I received. Thank you again Patty for all your help.

Truth is I’d rather give them no stars but the service I receive was horrible. They made us wait over an hour I paid them 1200. And was to pay them a total of 1500 and the wanted to give me these sad flowers six flowers per arrangement. I ask for my money back and the said they have a acid refund police. I could have understand taking away a deposit but refusing to give anything was just heartless. The contract was horrible. Look I probably would have left this in the pass since it happen to me in 2013. But I check out their site and Google gave them four stars. I found that hard to believe. Don’t use this company. They are evil and heartless I can’t speak on their work since I terminated future business. I’m just saying there process is very stressful in a time that shouldn’t be. Be very careful with these people.

I do admit that I didn’t looked at many of the florist that CHCC had listed. I went to one florist before coming to Jack and Rose and then looked at another one afterwards. We choose them because they seem reasonable with their prices and they promised me that they will deliver the center piece I have in mind. Patty has been in the field for a while and as soon as she sees me pulling out my phone, she knew that I got a picture for her. I do admit that I have heard brides were not happy with them so we kind took a leap of faith when I signed with them. Yes, the contracts did have highlights and as well as capitalized letters that is kind of daunting, but at the end, what matters is the beautiful flowers they were delivered on time, fresh, and already displayed at your banquet hall. I am glad my flower shopping experience was smooth and the wedding day flowers turned out to be very beautiful. They even helped me moved my flowers to the wedding ceremony area so people can appreciate it longer. Please not that they don’t really pick up the phone on first dial, but when I left a message or an e-​mail, they were always returned promptly. At the end, I am happy with their flowers and services, but always do shopping around first

Coming from a large family in the catering business and recommendations from friends who’ve recently gotten married, my dad, prominent in the Long Island catering hall industry, gave me a list of three floral designers to choose from. He said to me, «I want you to see all of them, but I know you are going to love Jack and Rose. Trust me.» So I did! From the moment I spoke to Jack and Patty at a bridal showcase held at the Watermill, I was hooked. The centerpieces they had on display helped to fulfill my Pinterest dreams! Not knowing much in the design department, I knew that I had wanted a winter-​white theme for my wedding in January. After making an appointment with them, I went to their showroom in Woodbury and was greeted with a smile and an abundance of flowers. Being an indecisive/​last-​minute planner, I gave them ideas of what I wanted. They produced samples of my ideas, but then showed me how it could be improved (they are the professionals, so I trusted them!) After both Jack and Patty answered my calls/​emails (because I was a nervous bride-​to-​be!), they put my mind at ease and created such a magical setting for our wedding. My now-​husband and I were amazed at how beautiful our room looked. My bouquet, in addition to ALL of the bouquets for the bridesmaids, flower girls, corsages, and boutonnieres, were simply stunning. The beautiful pastels and whites perfectly complemented our centerpieces and all of the dresses and suits.
I cannot thank them enough for their patience, knowledge, professionalism, and kindness throughout the planning process. Thank you, thank you, thank you!:)

Not impressed with attitude. Jack was snippy when I wanted wording corrected on the contract. Told me his was a $ 5 million dollar organization and did not rip people off. Wish I’d walked then, but he realized his error and turned on the charm.
The color of the roses was off and I repeatedly had sent emails that went unanswered (of course after I paid). The color turned out fine, but not what was requested. Also, they were going to take care of «everything» until the day of the wedding and they then left petals in bags that were supposed to be sprinkled on all the tables for the maitre d’ to handle. It was not. So I paid for flowers that did not make it to the tables.
This is the one thing I wish I’d done differently for my wedding. Go with someone who doesn’t act like they’re doing you a favor.

Terrible Customer Service. Even before I enter the premises! I reached out to this florist via email to book an appointment. At 3:30pm I was asked to book the appointment via phone and to call before 4pm. Otherwise, I would need to call them on Tuesday at 11am when they open. By the time I read this email, it was already past 4pm. I was upset I had to wait til Tuesday to book an appointment when I was free this weekend. I responded and expressed how unreasonable it was that I cannot just give them a date and time when I will be coming in through email since we were already communicating successfully. Then, this writer has the nerve to respond in capitals :

What department of customer service? Department of Customer service would not be this rude to customer and can simply respond with which day they are available!

Have to GIVE 2 stars for flowers. They were there when they should be, forgot one piece but went back to the shop and brought it.
The CoNtRaCt with its caps and smaller and larger print was funny, as was their insistence in CASH.
I had a MAJOR car accident right before the wedding. All other vendors very understanding, they did not work with me or my family at all. Cash only. Wouldnt take payment over the phone to work with us. ???wonder why?

I went for a appointment there for my wedding, I sat in the waiting room for over an hour, there were no refreshments nothing to keep you entertained just some wacky computer playing audio of glowing reviews from their customers. When we finally sat down with one of their consultants, I don’t really remember her name. I was pitched pretty aggressively, she kept throwing numbers out to see what we’d take. Every time we were quoted a price, it was if you do this now we’ll do a special price, really pressuring us into booking. Finally when she arrived at a number, I asked if there was delivery included she said no, it’s a small charge. I asked how much $ 200-​$ 400 is not a small charge. The place was really dreary looking, all fake flowers everywhere nothing fresh to see, they say they do one wedding a day. I find that hard to believe because people on Liweddings were saying they don’t. I ended up going to Burton’s instead and got the flowers for $ 1000 less minus the BS. Steer clear of this place… Big waste of time.

Horrible horrible horrible. Rude and over priced. The receptionist called me 3x a week until I booked an appt even after I told her many times that I would call when I was ready. She preeches about this 25% discount but their price was still $ 500 higher than all my other florist quotes. The place is dusty and no real flowers on display, I had a 12 o’clock appt which they pushed til 1 last min, waited in the lobby for 15 mins without being acknowledged. Poor poor customer service and jack was just rude over all ! Will not use them !! Beware !

Just to be clear. The score is weighed down with 0 stars for service.
Jack and Patty. Please don’t take it personally. Work on your service. Yes, I was coming out of town, but my wife was the one that you guys put under stress. She loved working with every vendor we worked with except you. We never called past 5pm, otherwise we would perfectly understand.
My suggestion to you. Show that you care NOT by badgering the bride/​groom during the wedding, but working with them before the wedding. Have flowers to show during the actual flower arrangement (especially if it’s schedule ahead of time and as you pointed out, when I am coming from out of town). And as for your documentation of no contact… sigh, Jack. Don’t make things up. You answered a few phone calls, and even introduced yourselves the first time we went. I’m sure you’re a good guy. Please let your customers feel that way about you, because i’m just letting you know it wasn’t the case for the months we interacted with you.
Also. Your CONTRACT with SO MUCH BOLD and CAPS LOCKS reminds ME OF when WE USED TO WRITE like that in MIDDLE SCHOOL. You might want to tone it down. Your response actually made me laugh because our contract with you looks like your response to my review.
We were relieved when we saw your product. At least it wasn’t a bad product on top of bad service. The centerpieces and bouquets were truly beautiful, and my wife was very pleased. (Yes, I’m being fair about both service and products).
My suggestion for customers: I’d ask around first to see if anything has changed regarding service. There’s equally good product if not better, and at much less the headache. Although, given the response to my review, I doubt anything has. And looking at other reviews, wow… I guess I’m not the only one to have a bad experience.

This place is terrible. We booked a weekend appointment and the guy was an hour late. We waited in the parking lot and when he showed up he ran in without seeing us. We got out and walked into the place and the guy was acting as if he had been there the entire time and didn’t hear us knocking or the phone ringing. He was not personable at all and didn’t care about our business. One of the worst places I’ve ever visited. Do not trust these liars.

I would not recommend this place to anybody! if your thinking about going to this place then please run!!! these people do not care about anything other than what is in your pocket.
I had gone with them because they closely work with crest hollow and if i was crest hollow i would cut my business with them because they bring a bad name.
their contracts are all mambo jumbo, one thing on top of another and they conveniently forget to tell you about the delivery fee until later. I’m sorry but I think it is ridiculous to charge people over 100 $ in delivery fee when crest hollow is next door to them!
My flowers came out nice (which I’m sure any other place can do because mine was very simple) so I wont say much about the flowers, however they rush you when you are there to try and get everything over and done with, when you try and take your time they seem to get very nervous and frustrated and very unpleasant.

I have very mixed feelings about Jack & Rose, but give them a 4 as a compromise. The final product that they produced deserves 5-​stars, but considering some service issues, I had to bump it down.
I worked with… Patty? And she & I just did *not* see eye-​to-​eye. I was definitely not what you would call a bridezilla (I SWEAR, I’d even let you ask my friends/​family!), but she just really irritated me. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted when we came in (well, I was, but apparently it wasn’t feasible for my summer wedding) so she & I went back and forth a bit. While I do believe that she is knowledgeable and was trying in her own way to help, I swear if she had asked me one more time «Do you love it?» in response to 4 – 5 flowers that she had thrown together as a small-​scale sample, I might have lunged across the table at her.
In the end she helped me pick out very beautiful centerpieces that were great. People actually fought over who got to take them home ;) One complaint on delivery is that they did mess up the color of my flower girl’s flowers, however the driver ran back, got the appropriate flowers, and delivered them before we even started taking pictures.
In the end everything worked out fine, but the journey could’ve been much smoother.

we used them at the strong recommendation of crest hollow, but be aware. i was not made aware of the total final cost up front. We thought we agreed to a final price but there were additional charges once we had the contract for taxes and delivery.
please, read the contract on your own — I felt rushed through it, and its very lengthy and confusing. Patty paraphrased everything for us, and that’s fine. But We didn’t even see the first page with the total costs, after we got home, we realized we were obligated to additional $ 600 i was not expecting. Had I known that BEFORE we signed, I would have changed our order to stay within budget.
Also, the cancellation policy is NO cancellations, so just be aware.
That being said, the flowers were AMAZING, perfect, everything showed up. They were just what we wanted and so beautiful. Breathtaking. They ask you to give a comment on the flowers on your wedding day. I would have no problem doing that ANY other time than that moment. I wish I could leave it at that, but…
Our biggest complaint, the flowers were 45 minutes late. the place is down the road, and the arrival time was in the contract. Our photographer couldn’t start pictures until the flowers arrived, and we only had 2 hours of daylight to deal with, so losing 1 hour of that time for the flowers ruined our photos. We didn’t have nearly enough time to get our photos outside. Considering they are very intent on sticking to the contract, it was so disappointing.
