Absolutely perfect evening. Stumbled upon this gem on a late Wednesday night and so happy we did. You won’t be disappointed!

So lucky to have this great French restaurant right around the corner! Their boeuf bourgignonne is amazing, as is the coq au vin. Good selection of wines, and don’t miss the crème brûlée for dessert!

Absolutely terrible service. At the bar unattended for more than 30 minutes and when we went to the manager to order a drink(not even to complain) he rolled his eyes in his head saying«shes very busy!!» The bar was attended, but certainly not out of control. We finally asked for the check and it included food that we ordered but never arrived. As we were walking out, the food finally arrived and the manager said«do you want it or not??!» We respectfully declined. There are way too many restaurants in the area(more reasonably priced) where we wont be treated so rudely and disrespectfully. Go to Moca right next door instead.

Started with appetizers of escargot was good but skip the charcuterie plate which had lame pieces of foie gras, tough sausages. The duck dish had crispy skin but at the expense of the breast being too dry. The best dish of the table was the lamb which had a savory crust and done perfectly. The service was excellent and the room was very elegant with the chandeliers.

Four of us has dinner last night. Food outrageous and staff attentive. The owner/manager, who seems to live there, walks around saying hi and joining when asked. Almost ordered a second filet. Everyone was happy.

My first time at Sage and I was very nicely surprised. We were on the early side for a Saturday evening so we sat right down. Our waiter Manuel was friendly and attentive. I had the caramelized leek soup(superb) and the beef bourguignon(melt in your mouth). My wife had the filet mignon(without the au poivre) and it was done perfectly. We were a little surprised that her burnt green beans tasted rather foul. Desert was the pecan torte with cinnamon ice cream. Tasted great but a little dry. Perhaps I was expecting more of a pecan pie sticky feel. The room was nicely done and there seemed to be an abundance of wait staff. All in all, I cannot wait to go back.

My husband and I went to Sage Bistro for our 9 year wedding anniversary. The food was amazing. We had the Filet Mignon tacos(my favorite of the night), the seafood salad(which was light and fresh and delicious), the meat and cheese appetizer(again, loved it), the duck a l’orange, the grilled sirloin, the crime brûlée, and the cheesecake. Everything was great and we’ll definitely be back!

This restaurant was really nice. I wanted to try the foie gras terrine but they were out of it so had to settle for chorizo and that was ok. The mussels were really good and so was the rack of lamb.

Excellent food, excellent service! Décor was satisfying. We had a party of 7, ordered a grilled octopus & mussels for our appetizers. Both were very good. As an entrée we ordered a rack of lamb, stuffed pork chops, and Bouilabaisse. Rack of lamb was very well cooked, Bouilabaisse was very tasty,(not salty, not bland, was perfect to my taste), pork chop was little dry, but ok. For desserts we ordered chocolate mousse, and Crème brûlée, and walnut apple which was dessert special. All very good. The server, Mark knew how to satisfy a table. The owner paid attention to our table until we left. Very impressed with our dine in tonight.

Ok, you do not expect great meals at lunch, but today was an exception to the rule. my seared tuna was perfect. my onion soup came out hot and tasty. Did I mention the glass of Merlot? Well the restaurant did not produce it It was delicious 2÷20÷2016− had lunch with my wife and friends. The restaurant does not disappoint. Great French onion soup to start and the seared tuna was perfect. My wife loved her sole and Caesar salad.

Let me start by saying the food was amazing the manager and staff were fantastic unfortunately the girl behind the bar ruined the entire meal. She was rude, unprofessional and should not be working with people. The way she yelled at customers and staff in front of everyone she is obviously related to the owner or having sex with them. The manager would not even look at her or confront as he repeatedly apologized and comped our drinks and some food. It was the worst experience I have ever received in any restaurant. She is around 30 years old black hair and was working on a Saturday night Someone please let me know when she is gone(permanently)so I can go back for a stuffed pork chop and that warm chocolate peanut butter desert my party was all fighting over. It sucks when one bad egg brings down a great establishment. Jared–

Another few meals here and we need to add a star. The pecan crusted chicken breast(served with a butternut squash purée and leeks in a porcini mushroom sauce) is a delight. Crispy on the outside but sweet from the pecans and the squash… a winning dish. Orders of canard À l’orange and grilled salmon with quinoa are always quickly finished as well. As always, the service was stellar. One of my fave places to eat in the area. Bonus: don’t miss out on the specials menu and someone try the steak tacos and report back!

Was nice but is changing. Lunch time is fun and friendly staff. Weekend at the bar isn’t what it used to be. Unless you are a regular, you don’t get treated nicely.

Nice little French Bistro located within a very popular strip mall in Woodbury. I really like the Sage menu — especially the French bistro classics(i.e. onion soup, escargot, baguettes). All I’ve tried have been excellent and both the room and the service is top rate. I like the fact that the manager oversees the room and checks up on everyone — insuring that the tables are happy. At my most recent dinner, our group of 4 had all of the above French classics plus salads, steaks, and chicken preparations. No complaints at all. We all left full and happy.

Great place to go with family or friends. Definitely not the place to go for a quiet romantic evening. Wait staff is good. Husband ordered duck breast. It was cooked perfectly. I ordered the bouillabaisse. I love fish. The fish in this dish were so tiny. Small mussels, tiny shrimp, clams, & scallops. It was ok. I’ve had better bouillabaisse. It was crowded as usual. I think I like Sage Bistro for lunch.

This was an outstanding meal! The wines: great variety and knowledgable service. It’s an impressive wine bar. Apps: Superb oysters and terrific mussels. Entrees: All excellent, especially my dish — the special fish was a sole with crabmeat. Desserts and coffee: Also excellent. I can’t wait to come back!

Second time here. Still a solid 4 stars. No one in my party had a bad meal. The bouillabaisse was really great. The fish was all fresh and very flavorful, not just salty… lots of great flavors. The raw oysters were phenomenal, very fresh. All around this place is solid and service is very good.

Ordered a medium-well steak to go during lunch. The cow was still mooing and kicking when I cut into it. Very bloody and, well, raw tasting. It had very little seasoning and was a caveman portion perfect for the Flintstones. I was very confused by the wrong cook temp, as I had waited a while for my steak and the restaurant was kind of empty. The folks behind the bar and at the stand were very nice, though. I would try here again. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing.
