XFINITY Store by Comcast

Never been to a xfinity store before, (I pay my bills online) I went up to the counter to return my equipment and the worker rudely told me I had to sign in first because everyone in the room is before me. Ok, so now I know I have to sign in first and am quite embarrassed because he just made it seem like I was trying to cut in line of everyone that is waiting. Then he helps the next person and while in transact, she goes to the bathroom and he waits for her while everyone else waits (she was in there for like 10 mins) This transaction took 30+ mins! He could have helped other customers during that 10 min! and when the other worker finished his work, he said if anyone needed to drop off equipment and didn’t need a receipt then they can just drop it off at the front. So basically the first worker was a rude dumb ass and made me wait nearly an hour to drop off my equipment!!! I wish I would have caught his name so I can call to complain!

my rating is too high.
bummed out here 48 hours after our activation kit came with no service.
then get a call from a tech who was rude and wouldn’t listen.
looks like this store has a bad problem with customer service.
pretty sure that is the main point of a store.
anyway. tell your techs to stop being pretentious on the phones.
also not sure why comcast would have a tech come all the way from Woodbury when im in St paul and there is a store a couple miles from my location.

HORRIBLE… if I could give zero stars I would. Been sitting here for 20 minutes just to return some equipment. Told over the phone there would be a drop box and I would not have to wait. Needless to say I was told when I got here I needed to wait. Seems pretty common that one Comcast rep says one thing and another tells you something completely different. Actually pretty much everytime I speak to someone about the same issues I’m told something completely different everytime. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Giving one star to this place is overly generous, If I could give an accurate quote it would be –4. I’ve been on the phone with Comcast 14 times between yesterday and today. First I was double charged (which has still not been refunded) and now the Internet I ordered won’t work. Called yesterday to tell them the internet wasn’t working and they said someone would be to our house between 2 — 4 pm. We waited around and no one ever showed. I called around 4:30 yesterday to complain no one ever showed and the customer service rep said «someone would be in contact first thing tomorrow morning to set up a time». This morning I called at 6am to make sure this was going to be set up. No one knew at all what I was talking about. Spoke with a supervisor who informed me he would be in contact with the techs at the Woodbury location. Supervisor then was told dispatch wasn’t open, but were supposed to be an hour ago and once they were they would call me. Finally was told at 9:45 a tech may be in the area but they couldn’t guarantee anything but they’ll call me in the next hour for sure. Called at noon they told me they were finally able to get a tech to me that would be calling me in the next ten minutes. Twenty minutes later a tech called me from this location and was SUPER RUDE. Told me he was in woodbury and how could I expect him to come fix our internet that he already spoke with me yesterday regarding this matter (which he never spoke with me yesterday I only spoke with customer service reps from Houston). He then proceeded to say it’s not his problem my internet isn’t working and I better suck it up and wait until Wednesday. No one at this company is willing to help all they do is lie to customers. I canceled my century link for this crap too! I have never been so frustrated and upset with a company ever this is the worst customer service I’ve experienced in my life. I’m a Manager in retail I would never speak to any customer the way these people from this location have.

This store gives great customer service! Matt has helped me twice and writes down directions for easy home set up.

Came into the woodbury store to do a box return. I checked in and sat down waiting for my turn. It has there are 3 people waiting along with me. I have been sitting in this store now for 30 minutes. A woman «Jen» is standing around doing who knows what on an iPad while customers are waiting. I have only written two bad reviews in my life for any one. This is the second one. In my retail experience, if customers are waiting IN the store you shouldn’t be standing around holding an iPad literally not helping anyone. I hope she isn’t a manager, this is a piss poor example for leadership. Maybe this is why Comcast has so many customer service issues? Lead by example. Since I started writing this, 3 more people have walked in and it appears that «Jens» only roll at this store is to tell people how to use the check in iPad at the front that already has directions on it. 4^th person just walked in «Jen went in the back. 2 reps are now servicing a store full of customers while Jen walks around with an iPad. Now she went into her corner office and sat down, with the store full. This is insanity!!! She is sitting in her glass office, doing nothing to help expedite customers. If it wasn’t for the top notch customer service of «Blake Marshall» at this location I would be cancelling my service right now! Even with a cancelation fee. I hope this message is read by the local senior leadership.
Here is your problem Comcast! MANAGEMENT not leading by example.
